This solid bare copper cable with true plenum jacket is tested and rated for fire safety complying with TIA standards and NEC fire code. Plenum (CMP) rated cable is used in plenum areas, areas with air flow, such as drop ceilings, raised floors, or running cable through HVAC. This cable has the highest fire retardant rating making it suitable for ANY runs, even in-wall replacing Riser (CMR) cable.
