Docking stations are mainly used when the disks are replaced a lot. The ICY BOX IB-111StU3-Wh has an optical impact too, as it is not made only of plastic, but also high quality aluminium. The stylish docking station is flexible when it has to do with HDDs, as it accepts both 2.5" and 3.5" SATA HDDs without a problem, even Solid State Disks (SSDs) can be uses. The connection to PC is done via a USB 3.0 interface. Thanks to the backwards compatibility, USB 2.0 ports can be used too, but then it will not reach the 5 Gbit/s maximal speed.
