Tripp Lite AC Adapter U280W0240C2G

The Tripp Lite U280W0240C2G is a 40W USB-C Power Delivery 3.0 wall charger with two ports, suited to people who want to charge two compatible devices at once, with up to 20W available per port when both are in use.

Recommended For

• Travelers who want one compact wall charger for a USB-C phone and tablet, with two devices charging at once and a folding plug for packing.
• People charging a phone and a second USB-C device at a desk, hotel, or shared outlet; the two ports can supply up to 20W each when used together.
• Students or mobile workers with a USB-C Chromebook or other lower-power laptop who need a compact charger for light-duty charging, especially alongside a phone.
• People who want one USB-C wall adapter for phones, e-readers, or tablets and prefer not to choose between ports; either port supports the same charging profiles.

Real-World Use Scenarios

• On a trip, charge a USB-C phone and tablet from one wall outlet; both can charge at once, while the compact body and folding plug are easier to pack than a typical laptop-sized adapter.
• At a desk or bedside, charge two USB-C devices—such as a phone and earbuds case—without using a computer’s USB ports; the charger shares output between the two connections.
• When charging one compatible USB-C phone, use either port by itself for up to 30W; the phone’s actual charging speed depends on its supported charging rate and cable.
• For a light USB-C laptop or Chromebook, use it as a compact wall charger when the computer supports charging at this adapter’s output; laptops requiring more power may charge slowly or not while in use.
• At a shared outlet in a hotel room or study area, charge a phone alongside a tablet or another USB-C device; with both ports occupied, each receives up to 20W, so charging may take longer than charging one device alone.
