It is a USB to Serial cable with Software Handshaking using only three signals: TXD (2), RXD (3), RTS (4), CTS (5), GND (7). Please doubel check your devices setup prior to purchase. Works with Kantronics KPC2, KPC-3+ and ARM debian Successfully interfaced our Kantronics TNCs to a raspberry pi running Debian without a hitch. It has indicator lights inside the clear USB end to indicate activity. Connector appears to be well-assembled.
