Outward - opening Doors: This Eufy doorbell mount is designed exclusively for inward - opening doors. Outward - opening doors won't work with it due to design limitations.
Doors with Interlocking Metal Slots: The structure of these doors prevents the Eufy door mount from securing tightly, so they are not compatible.
Doors with Mismatched Thicknesses: If your door's thickness doesn't meet our specifications, the Eufy Doorbell E340 mount may not attach properly or function as intended.
How to Adjust the Mount for Optimal Viewing
1. Loosen the adjustable clamp screws;
2. Position the mount on the door and adjust the angle to ensure the doorbell faces outward correctly;
3. Tighten the screws firmly;
4. Test the door to ensure it closes properly without obstruction.
Note: If the doorbell cannot face outward, reposition the mount closer to the door edge.
