If the problem persists, often this means there is not quality contact between the ASIC chip and the heatsink. Sometimes during shipping or during setup, the heatsink may rock back and forth causing the thermal paste to be squished out. To remedy this, we recommend simply cleaning off the previous application of thermal paste, and reapplying new thermal paste like MX-6 or ThermalGrizzly. This will ensure proper thermal conductivity between the chip and the heatsink and the unit should resume seemless operation.
