The Mini SAS SFF-8643 to SATA cable is a SAS controller to SATA hard drive cable or a SAS motherboard to SATA hard drive cable. This is not a reverse cable, SATA is the host. Before purchasing this cable, please ensure that Mini SAS (SFF-8643) is present on the motherboard or RAID controller. If Mini SAS (SFF-8643) is present on the backplane, this SAS to SATA cable cannot work with them.
