Succeeding the award-winning NF-A14 and building on the technological innovations of the ground-breaking NF-A12x25, the NF-A14x25 G2 is Noctua's next-generation square-frame 140mm flagship model: Made from Sterrox LCP, its highly optimised Progressive-Bend impeller with winglets, Flow Acceleration Channels and Centrifugal Turbulator hub combined with a tip-clearance of only 0.7mm allow the NF-A14x25 G2 to further improve its predecessor's renowned quiet cooling performance. Like the NF-A14 and NF-A12x25, it is a true all-rounder that yields superb results in all types of usage, regardless of whether it's in low-impedance, airflow-oriented applications such as case cooling, or high-impedance, static pressure demanding scenarios such as on heatsinks and water cooling radiators. The 4-pin LS-PWM version is a low-speed, PWM-enabled variant that is ideal for semi-passive setups or ultra-low-noise applications that require near-silent acoustics and PWM based speed control.

Producing only 11.4 dB(A) at its 800rpm maximum speed and 8.6 dB(A) with the included Low-Noise Adaptor, the LS-PWM version is ideal for serious silent-enthusiasts: An ultra-quiet low-speed fan that supports PWM control for advanced acoustic fine-tuning!

Acting as a turbulator, the new Centrifugal Turbulator hub design improves flow attachment in the hub region. At the same time, it is centrifugal driving motion pushes air outwards from the hub area where efficiency is low due to the slow rotational speed towards the outer, high-efficiency zones of the blades, thereby increasing overall efficiency by optimising fluid distribution across the impeller area.

The NF-A14x25 G2 features the further optimised second generation of Noctua's renowned, time-tested SSO bearing. With SSO2, the rear magnet is placed closer to the axis to provide even better stabilisation, precision and durability.

The NF-A14x25 G2 has a record tight tip clearance (distance between the blade tips and the inside of the frame) of only 0.7mm. This highly ambitious design sets a new benchmark for 140mm fans and helps the NF-A14x25 G2 to work more efficiently against back pressure, such as on heatsinks or radiators, by reducing leak flows through the gap between impeller and frame.
*In chassis with more than 165mm CPU cooler clearance, the front fan can be moved upwards to make room for memory modules taller than 32mm.
