1) Note: The motherboard must support PM port replication mode to recognize 5 hard disks. If it does not support PM function, it cannot recognize 5 hard disks.; 2) Note: The NGFF slot must support the SATA protocol, otherwise it cannot be recognized.; 3) JMB575 supports cascaded mode which enables maximum 5 drives connected to one host.; 4) With proper setting, the chip can be configured as 1 to 5 ports SATA 6Gbps Port or a 5 to 1 port SATA 6Gbps Port.; 5) JMB575 is a single chip solution. It integrated 5 independent SATA channels and a micro-processor.
