It is an internal Mini Serial Attached SCSI HD x4 (SFF-8643) to SFF-8643 adapter. It can connect two SFF-8643 connector together.
The High Density (HD) system referenced as HD Mini-SAS (SFF-8643) in the SAS4.0 standard, meets the 24Gb/s SAS specification.
These HD Connectors will be used on the SAS4.0 specification when it is released. Cable material may change but the connectors will be the next generation of SAS to run at 24Gb/s.
Smaller size connector and cable saves device space, Applications for Servers,Data Storage,Workstation,Meet PCIe Gen3/4 and SAS4.0 specification.
Provide four channels signal transmission as per industry standard,Data speed: 24Gbps for SAS and 8GT/s for PCIe per channel.
