The Megaraid9500 series is an industry Pcle Gen 4.0 RAID adapter series that provides Pcle Gen 4.0 host and storage interfaces. The Megasas9560-16 adapter is based on the SAS3916 high port number Pcle 4.0 x8 on-chip RAD (Ro0), with performance twice that of previous generations.

9560-16i and existing Pcle SFF- The 8639 module (U2) backplane is compatible, allowing users to improve performance in today's growing bandwidth environment. The 9560-16i combines two industry initiatives to expand the deployment of Tr i-mode Ser Des technology, allowing NWMe, SAS, or SATA devices to run in a single drive bay, which helps achieve significant performance and flexibility from U. 3.

The Backplane SFF-TA-10001 specification (U. 3) defines the Universal Backplane Management (UBM) for SAS, SATA, and NMe, which defines a universal backplane control and management framework. With the help of Iri Mode Ser Des technology, adapters can negotiate between speed and protocol to seamlessly collaborate with any of the three types of storage devices.
