Overall Review: So far has worked great for me. I've mostly used it to connect simple accessories to my MacBook Pro, like a keyboard or microphone. I haven't tested it with an external hard drive, for example, so I can't comment on its throughput. For the basics though, it's been solid. Feels pretty well built, if a little stiff (but that may make it prove to be durable). Overall happy.

Pros: Speed transfer is much quicker than using the 3.0 USB Port! (remember I am using the C- USB Port.)

Overall Review: New laptops often come with only 2 USB-A ports (the common type) . The 3rd port is replaced by the new C-type USB 3.1. This adaptor gives you back the 3rd port you lost until your peripherals are replaced with the new connector type. Seems to work perfectly on my laptop with high speed transfers. Cable is a little stiff. 2 year warranty.
