1The Main Function Of The Refrigerator Defrost Thermostat Is To Control The Defrost Process Of The Refrigerator . When The Frost Inside The Refrigerator Is Too Thick, The Defrosting Thermostat Will Start The Defrosting Heater To Melt The Frost Layer By Heating, And Prevent The Frost Layer From Affecting The Refrigeration Effect And Wasting Energy

1

Maintenance And Troubleshooting Methods:

1. Replace The Thermostat: The Simplest Solution Is To Replace The Thermostat.

2. Clean Contact: If You Cannot Replace The New Thermostat Temporarily, You Can Clean The Contact. Use A Multimeter To Measure The Contact Resistance. If The Resistance Is Infinite, The Temperature Sensor In The Temperature Sensing Element Is Leaking. If The Resistance Is Higher Than 10 Ohms, The Carbon Deposition Between The Contacts Is Serious. Use A Small Screwdriver To Pry Off The Metal Covers On Both Sides Of The Thermostat And Polish The Contact Surfaces.

1

Temperature Sensing:

The Temperature Sensor (Thermostat) In The Refrigerator Measures The Temperature Inside The Refrigerator. When The Temperature Sensor Detects That The Internal Temperature Exceeds A Certain Threshold, It Sends A Signal To Start The Defrosting Process.

1

Defrosting Heating:

The Defrosting Heater Partially Heats The Inner Wall Of The Refrigerator By Heating With Electric Current, Which Melts The Frost Layer Into Water Droplets, Which Then Flow Into The Water Tray And Are Discharged Outside The Refrigerator

1

Control Circuit:

The Control Circuit Is Responsible For Controlling The Switch Of The Defrosting Heater. When The Temperature Sensor Detects That The Internal Temperature Exceeds The Set Value, The Control Circuit Will Automatically Turn On The Defrosting Heater For Defrosting Operation
