It is compatible with AM5, AM4, LGA1700, LGA1851, LGA1954, LGA115x and LGA1200. With additional mounting parts it can also be made compatible with AM2(+), AM3(+), FM1, FM2(+), LGA1366, LGA20xx Square ILM and LGA775.
Which version of the NH-D15 G2 should I buy (LBC, standard or HBC)?
The standard NH-D15 G2 is recommended as the best allrounder. The HBC version is ideal for LGA1700 without socket modifications, while the LBC version is best for AM4 and AM5 when not using our offset mounting bars.
Whats the difference between the NH-D15 G2 and the first-generation NH-D15?
On popular, modern AMD and Intel CPUs the NH-D15 G2 will typically perform 2-3°C better.
Is the NH-D15 G2 compatible with my case?
Make sure that the case allows for a cooler height of at least 168mm. Please note that the cooler height will increase when your RAM modules are taller than 32mm. Detailed compatibility information is available on the Noctua website.
