High-quality German technology meets excellent design - that's CHERRY. Production of the first microswitches began in 1953 in the basement of an Illinois restaurant. 20 years later, the first keyboards were built - CHERRY is the oldest manufacturer of computer keyboards. Production of the MX switches, which are now used billions of times in millions of keyboards around the world, began in 1983. Thousands of years of experience, passion and tradition have made the CHERRY brand what it is today: quality products developed in Germany and are designed to meet the highest standards in performance, design, reliability and functionality. The CHERRY KC 500 MX LP is one of our first office keyboards to feature the new mechanical CHERRY MX LP 2.0 switches, which enable an extra low height, a buttery soft touch and absolute switching reliability. The new switches are covered by our own wear-resistant high-end PBT keycaps. The low-profile wired keyboard features sturdy fold-out feet for tilt adjustment, an anodized metal surface and tasteful white lighting. The mechanical office keyboard is also available in two versions: as the KC 500 MX LP in full-size layout or as the KC 500 MX LP TKL in compact tenkeyless format without a numeric keypad.
