Pros: Fast. I have two of these in RAID 0. Speeds measured with Crystal Disk Mark are 550MB/s read and 800MB/s write sequential. 340MB/s read and 480MB/s write 4K QD32.

Cons: My drives shipped with firmware 1.4.1. My laptop wouldn't recognize the drives on a cold boot, and blue screened after every resume from sleep. After I updated to firmware 1.5 both of these problems went away. I assume new drives will ship with the latest firmware, so this shouldn't be a problem now.

Overall Review: MSI GT683R-242US Notebook

Pros: On a core i5 3550 with 8GB of RAM. My old drive gave an abysmal 50MB/s benchmark for sequential read and write and this drive scored just over 250MB/s. And that's using SATA 2. I used a cloning tool to copy my old install to the new drive and the system boots up lightening fast. There is no delay between the fully rendered Windows 7 logo and the prompt to login. Just a flash and then the login. After logging in the system is immediately responsive unlike before where it took 20-30 seconds before things would start running properly.

Cons: Doesn't come with mounting bracket for larger bays in desktop cases. Annoying more than anything but not unforgivable.

Overall Review: Decent price; I've seen cheaper at times on similar or slower drives. Overall the performance is well worth the price though and I will be getting another one for my build machine at work.

Pros: Price, speed and ease.

Overall Review: I disagree with Ss3trnks2 about it all being a firmware/user issue. On startup, bios recognized my first drive. Installed Win 7 64 clean. Checked firmware and was the latest shipped with my drive. Started to install some of my applications and dead. Just like that. Tried to install on other ports (even sata 2) and in alternate box, with no luck. Drive died and had nothing to do with firmware. Sometimes it just happens, so RMA and get a replacement.

Pros: I checked the firmware on my drive and had the latest 1.5.2 version. It is stable, fast, and makes my MacBook Pro (mid-2012) 13" with 8GB of RAM (non-Retina) run great without having to pay the Apple upgrade price.

Cons: None for now, will follow up later if there is one.

Overall Review: Make sure you have the newest firmware as others have stated. This is my third (3rd) OCZ solid state drive and all I can say is do not buy them when they first come out, because they usually have issues. Just wait until they are done tweaking their firmware until the drive runs reliably. I enjoy all 3 of my OCZ drives and will continue to buying drives from them. A few notes: 1. Get TRIM ENABLER for OS X, yes it will work with 10.8.1. 2. Follow tweaks by Googling them using the keywords Mountain Lion OS X SSD tweaks, there will be various blogs out there to help you tweak. 3. Get iRamdisk if you have a Mac and create a symbolically link all of your browser cache (if you have enough RAM, even temp folders) to this drive, but make sure you format it before you do that. For MacBook Pros make sure you have a Torx T6 screw driver for the HD screws. Also, please be aware that it is up to you to disconnect the battery, Apple's manuals say not to, but iFixit says to - so YMMV.

Pros: Decent capacity SSD. Bought an 128gb Agility 3 6 months ago for the same price as this, SSD's are finally financially viable for the average user.

Cons: Not a con BUT UPDATE YOUR SSD AFTER INSTALLING IT. People with negative reviews probably didn't upgrade the firmware and tried to install an OS on it on factory-installed firmware and then run into a plethora of problems.

Overall Review: I compared benchmarks in ATTO of this drive to my 128gb Agility 3 drive running OCZ's Sandforce Controller. The Agility 3 achieved 380/400mb read/writes. The Agility 4 achieved 250/450mb read/writes. I bought this drive primarily for all my Steam games and it works flawlessly, everything loads extremely fast. Loading games like Diablo 3, Crysis, Tribes Ascend is extremely fast and even older games, like Fallout 2 and Half-life 1 are near instantaneous loading. Real world differences compared to the agility 3 and agility 4 is barely noticeable unless you're transferring or installing extremely large files.

Pros: Fast, silent, exactly what you want in a SSD. Storage is good enough for most average users. I put 2 in a striped RAID which is more than enough for my OS, music, and Steam games. I have a spindle drive for video storage and most documents.

Cons: Not as fast as the Vertex 4, making the Agility 4 only really worthwhile if you get a fair deal cheaper than it. Keep in mind if you're going from a spindle drive, or even a SATA II SSD, this is still blazing fast compared to what you may be used to. I had a Vertex 2, and I can still see a marginal speed improvement.

Overall Review: People are more likely to review if they have a poor experience with a product, so I wouldn't take the overall rating to heart. I had 0 problems installing two of these as a (first time) RAID, no issues with lost partitions, no problems with firmware, they both just worked out of box. For the deal I got, paying a little more for double the storage of what I could have gotten on the Vertex 4 was worth it, particularly for the sequential read speed. Don't be scared off by bad reviews, especially if there is a (relatively steep) deal going.

Overall Review: Replaced a Western Digital SATA HDD acting as my Windows 7 system drive with this SSD. Moved the HDD to a new SATA port, plugged the SSD into the original SATA port, booted Acronis and cloned my HDD to the SSD. Rebooted and SSD has been in operation ever since. Be sure to check the TRIM, AHCI and defrag settings for best performance.

Pros: Amazing speeds, super quiet almost no excess heat. I was very skeptical about switching to an SSD drive. I have read and heard about a lot of people unstable issues. I have yet to have any issues at all. This thing runs great.

Cons: Bought a Second one and i assumed it would have mounts with it, that's my fault for not paying attention. So make sure you shop for HD mounts as well.
