Pros: Great speed, advanced features, good range. The configuration options are excellent, as is the reporting and general tool set.

Cons: It won't bring me a soda.

Pros: When it’s working tings run good and smooth.

Cons: Router was working fine for couple months. Long enough to get passed the included phone support . Started to drop internet randomly and netgear support wanted me to buy extended phone support, for more than I paid for router, to fix the issue. Will not buy another netgear router again.

Pros: Duma Software Geo Filter Easy to manage dashboard

Cons: VPN is for one company only. You cannot put in your own VPN unless it is the default company. It does randomly disconnect from time to time. Firmware hasn't fixed this issue.

Overall Review: After several months of saying there is a fix for the VPN coming, it still isn't here. If I would have known about the VPN wall I hit, I would have never bought this router. Too late for me to return it so I have to keep waiting for the "fix".

Pros: - Looks cool. - Has promising features. - Setup wizard 'simplifies' the setup process.

Cons: - Wired function didn't work on arrival. Netgear's customer service tells everybody to upgrade to the latest firmware as a fix-all. Despite upgrading to latest firmware, wired connections could not resolve DHCP addresses. Even after a factory reset. - When plugging the ethernet cable into "Port 1" at the back of the router, the LED for "Port 4" lights up on the front. This goes for all the ports, they're all mismatched. Plugging into "Port 4" on the back of the router lights up the "Port 1" LED on the front. - The DumaOS software for the router offers too many options (system information, WAN configuration for example) beyond configuring the router just so its functional. It's very easy to get lost in the menu.

Overall Review: I have 12 years of IT (management) experience. I am MCSA certified, in addition to Security+, Server+ and MTA: Network Fundamentals certifications. This router is not easy for a novice to configure. Too many options to troubleshoot easily, which opens you up to "maybe it's your ISP," "have you upgraded to the latest firmware?," and other migraines to come... I don't know a single gamer on a WAN or anybody who's utilizing static IP/DNS addresses. Why are these even options? Out of 100 gamers, maybe 5 would prefer to have static addresses. The antennae look cool on the router, but are they really extending the range of the wireless signal? I bought this router as an upgrade from my Cisco/Linksys E2500, but I think I'll be going back to that since the wired function still works on that router. Newegg's shipping, and return policies are incredible and exemplary.

Overall Review: Didn't really feel much of a different honesty if you want better WIFI just get a mesh

Pros: - Has lots of options - Easy to set up Its has a decent range for a wireless router

Cons: Not a real con, just a preference - I wish all routers cam with standard cable plugs like enterprise routers do. I hate the power boxes with the small plug in adapter. They do not seem to last as long.

Overall Review: - My home is right at 2K sq. feet. Router covers all of it. I have it upstairs in office. I run 10 wireless devices and 5 wired devices (1 of which is a server) with no issues. My internet speed is 500/500 and It handles that bandwidth just fine.

Pros: 1.Fixed my Bufferbloat for gaming (Main reason i bought it) 2.Strong Wifi signal got almost my entire house covered with WiFi 3.DumaOS- let you control everything and its easy to setup/use 4.WiFi 2.4ghz and 5ghz merged into 1 - make things easier :)

Cons: None so far.

Overall Review: Got it today and installed it (took me a while because im not a pro in Networks) Cant say much as its so brand new i got it for few hours only but so far? a game changer. Think about it like this - if your'e a gamer like me you always look for new hardware - better GPU , Better Monitor - Better Mouse and so on... but what about your Network? :) *Also wanted to say a big thanks for NewEgg - i got the package like 5 days after i placed the order!! GJ on that! because this is the first product i ever bought from NewEgg!

Pros: -Received on date promised -Quality product and installed short time with online instructions from manufacturer -Is operating as described -Would recommend seller newegg again

Cons: -Was a little price but is faster and already more reliable than past router
