Pros: Works as expected. Clean install of Win 10 via USB no issues. Ryzen 3000 ready R5 3600 works out of the box
Cons: Comes pre-installed with plastic rails along the CPU socket. If your CPU cooler does not use these plastic rails to hold itself;( i.e stock wraith stealth uses screws to keep it in.) Be sure to take plastic rails off BEFORE installing motherboard into case. I took rails off and the back plate dropped behind the motherboard. *facepalm* screws from Stealth cooler could not reach that deep and i had to remove the whole board to pop the cooler on. Builder error, just lookin' out for others!!
Overall Review: I saw reviews on this motherboard's sibling boards. (Carbon, Plus) and saw the 3000 series wasn't supported out of the box. I realized this fact AFTER ordering this board. I was a little upset cause this was my first AMD build so I didn't have an old processor to update BIOS. I lucked out.. THIS BOARD WILL WORK WITH 3000 OUT OF THE BOX. looks like they updated these "Plus Max" boards to work with Ryzen 3000 out of the box. Will update the review if I encounter any issues.
