Features | This GeForce RTX 3080 graphics card with LHR (lite hash rate) delivers 43 MH/s ETH hash rate (est.). Metal backplate Premium metal backplate provides a nice visual finish to the card. It also strengthens the card and thanks to some cleverly place thermal pads even helps to keep the temperature low. Core Pipe Precision-crafted heat pipes ensure max contact to the GPU and spread heat along the full length of the heatsink. Triple Fan Thermal Design TORX Fan 3.0: The award-winning MSI TORX Fan 3.0 design creates high static pressure and pushes the limits of thermal performance. Zero Frozr: Calm before the storm, keeping fans still and maintaining silence until cooling is needed. Thermal Padding: An abundance of thermal pads use any chance for additional heat transfer directly from the components. MSI Center The exclusive MSI Center software lets you monitor, tweak, and optimize MSI products in real-time. |

Pros: Powerful graphics, quite fans, price finally has come down out of space and back into the stratosphere. Newegg shipping was lighting fast. They had one in stock in my state and delivered to me in the next two days after my order.
Cons: Still a lot to pay for a graphics card the unit is huge and takes up 3 expansion slots with the anti-sag support which is highly needed
Overall Review: Overall would recommend and purchase again.
Pros: Its a 3080 near msrp its fantastic
Cons: Everytime i first boot up my pc for the day all the fans spin debug light says boot but i get no picture. Holding power button till pc turns off and back on fixed it and the pc works fine. Also when trying msi afterburner on the card it seems to go unstable rather quickly (might be an issues with the oc applied from factory interferring)
Overall Review: Its a great card though some minor though annoying draw backs
Pros: I upgraded from a MSI Ventus 2080 and the increase I saw was about 60%. Which is amazing. I am running almost all games at 3440 x 1440 at absolute max settings. With super high frames. I can run Crysis remastered at all settings of: Can It Run Crysis and still get well over 60 Frames.
Cons: None at all.
Overall Review: This card is huge make sure that your case can handle it. Recommend adding a custom fan curve if you have a M-ATX or ITX case as this card gets HOT!!!!
Pros: Impressive performance; runs smooth with no problems. When undervolted, it gets really good performance and runs cool and efficient.
Cons: On its own, the card runs pretty warm. Would recommend undervolting. This is standard advice for 3080s anyway.
Overall Review: Yes, I would recommend this to other people. It's worth mentioning that if you are looking for any type of LED lighting, this card does not have any. For me personally, I thought I might care about that, but it turns out I don't.
Pros: Works well, temps are as expected
Cons: MSRP and Availability
Overall Review: Overall great card that functions at above what I expected from its performance. Under load I'm hitting 62c average. The card is great for its price for an average enthusiast but any higher and I wouldn't recommend purely for cost alone.
Pros: I can play minecraft and fortnite at ultra with my 1440p monitor
Cons: I don't play fortnite ( i guess that's a pros ? )
Overall Review: If you have the chance to pick it up do it. I bought it in a bundle and its worth it ! And I paid MSRP. Not launch MSRP but still I didnt buy it from a scalper and that's a plus for me. Absolute monster of a GPU
Pros: - it works and run games as it should
Cons: after installation, I noticed that the most left fan makes a weird annoying sound while spinning (low/high speed) although when it is on high speed the other fans cover up the sound, and after a search on the internet I found out it has what they call a coil whine, which is so common and expected with this cheap production.
Overall Review: I don't recommend buying this line of cards (Ventus) it is so bad, that explains the price.
Pros: It works, it runs my games great paired with a Ryzen 9 5900X. Fans turn off when idle and when they do spin up during a game, I can't hear them over my case fans. Includes an anti-sag bracket - which I suggest you install if you don't mount this vertically. It is huge and kinda heavy. My temps are between 70-75C during gaming.
Cons: No dual BIOS feature. Huge, may be too big for some cases. Power and feature limited compared to "more expensive" variants like the MSI Gaming X - "more expensive" in quotes because pricing is all over the map for video cards right now. Using the anti-sag bracket means that this thing occupies 4 expansion slots. Power hungry like all high end video cards these days.
Overall Review: If you are looking for a RTX 3080 and don't need to OC it to high heavens, this is as good a choice as any. Just be aware there is NO RGB or LED lighting of ANY kind anywhere on this card so if that's important to you, keep looking. I did not list this fact as a PRO or a CON because it could be either depending on how you feel about RGB.
