Microsoft Surface Laptop 8 13.8" Touchscreen Copilot+ Notebook - Intel Core Ultra 5 335 - 32GB - 256GB SSD - Windows 11 Pro - Wi-Fi - Black - EP2-47691

Microsoft Surface Laptop 8 for Business is a 13.8-inch Windows 11 Pro touchscreen laptop with an Intel Core Ultra 5 335, 32GB memory, and a 256GB SSD, suited to business users who want a portable PC for everyday work and multitasking.

Recommended For

• Business users who need Windows 11 Pro and Intel-based Windows compatibility for managed workplace apps, peripherals, or IT deployment; Microsoft positions this model as a business laptop, and reviewers highlight its business-focused security and support features.
• Frequent commuters and hybrid workers who carry a laptop between home, office, and meetings and prefer a compact 13.8-inch format with a comfortable keyboard and touchpad for extended typing.
• People who regularly keep many work apps and browser tabs open and want 32GB of memory in a portable laptop for multitasking across documents, communication, and web-based tools.
• Windows users who want a touchscreen laptop for everyday office work, video calls, and presentations, with Thunderbolt 4 and USB-A available for connecting docks and common accessories.

Real-World Use Scenarios

• For a workday split between documents, spreadsheets, email, chat, and many browser tabs, the 32GB configuration is suited to keeping several everyday work apps open at once; the Core Ultra 5 version is best framed for office productivity rather than graphics-heavy workloads.
• For commuting between home, office, and meetings, its roughly 3-pound size makes it easy to carry. It can suit a day of mixed work, but intensive browsing and frequent video calls may mean bringing a charger rather than relying on the advertised maximum battery life.
• For video meetings and hybrid work, the built-in 1080p camera, dual microphones, and Windows Studio Effects support calls without requiring a separate webcam; call quality can still vary with lighting, room noise, and the meeting app.
• At a fixed desk, connect a compatible dock or monitor setup over USB-C/Thunderbolt 4 to move from the laptop screen to a larger multi-monitor workspace for spreadsheets, presentations, or side-by-side documents.
• When reviewing reports, web pages, or presentations, the touchscreen lets users tap, scroll, and zoom directly on the display; it is useful for touch navigation, but this model is not positioned as a pen-input device.
• For Microsoft 365 workflows, users can invoke Copilot features to help find information or work with files, meetings, email, and documents; access to some functions depends on eligible software, licensing, and feature availability.
