Pros: Great sound and more than adequate volume when considering the size and cost. Would buy again. Very minimal speaker hiss - I've heard much worse out of little cheap speakers.
Cons: None! Some people may not like the "halloween orange" LED, as another reviewer put it, but I dig it. Nice change of pace from blue LEDs.
Pros: 1. Great sound
2. Easy to use
3. Plenty of cable
Cons: None so far. See other comments regarding price.
Overall Review: I bought these back in 2014 for almost $40. Now these cost $250!?!? I don't understand that. The price jump is outrageous. Hopefully, the price will go back down to a more reasonable level. I am willing to pay up to $70 for these speakers but NOT $250.
Pros: Great Sound
Fantastic Clarity
Portable
Simple and easy to use and setup
Great Pricing
Name-Brand
High Quality Design
Cons: Weak Bass
Is not surround sound
Is not a fancy soundbar
Little room for expansion
Overall Review: My cons list is a comprehensive overview, thus my rating. These are excellent speakers in every way in my opinion but I have friends that buy into the whole "sound system" thing, and this product will likely disappoint such enthusiasts.
The speakers, while larger than typical "cheapo" desktop speakers, will not rumble your house's foundation or flex the glass in your windows when cranked to 11. There's simply not power present for that. Nevertheless, I've never "needed" them past roughly 50% volume in a 18'x16' bedroom where they are typically used with a desktop PC, and halfway is pretty jammin',
Also, these speakers are not really a square one for audio equipment. Though this is where my knowledge begins to run thin (not a sound system enthusiast), I do own the product and can tell you the speakers themselves have no outputs and only a single input, cornering off and chance of additional components to the system, such as a small sub to beef up the bass.
Which brings me to me to my next point, the bass is not going to impress anyone. Though I don't understand the recent trend of bass setups that could literally flex and bow industrial-grade plexiglass, be forewarned that these will not do that. I occasionally listen to some Dubstep and the sound from these speakers is clear and crisp, with bass present at a listenable level. These will not thump hard enough to give you heart palpitations from two blocks over, much to the dismay of some users.
Overall, a grand product in my opinion. I picked them as a high-quality alternative to screen-mounted audio, because it wasn't an option on the screen I had selected, and was anything but disappointed. They're typically used in gaming, and occasionally music, and are phenomenal. That said, if you plan to setup a skydiving simulator off of the percussive force, or wish to gradually piece together a wicked sound system, this is not a good place to start. Although it is a relatively economic placeholder for damaged speakers or until the big build is done.

Great Speakers, Great Price10/14/2011 10:39:09 AM
Pros: * Great range of sound
* Good frequency response for the price
* Good bass response
* Crisp and clear, with little to no distortion
* Headphone and auxiliary jacks
Each speaker has 2.5 watts RMS of power, which is pretty good. You'll be able to get these fairly loud.
The headphone jack is actually powered by the speakers' amp, which is something you don't see too often. It's a nice plus, and acts as a cheap headphone amp. The volume and tone knobs also control the volume and tone to your headphones.
Cons: None.
Overall Review: Don't expect the same kind of quality of sound as $100 speakers. These are the best you'll get, though, for the $20-$40 range in a 2 speaker setup.
2.1 setups will obviously have better bass range, but this is for those who don't need/want a sub.
This looks to have paper woofers, which isn't a bad thing, per say. They are coated with silver, and don't appear to be polypropylene injected. For paper woofers, and for the price, they sound fantastic!
I have several pairs of speakers, from low-end to high-end. These are for work, and they're amazing for 2.0 speakers, especially for the price.
They actually sound better than the Logitech X-120's I use to have, and much better than the comparatively priced Altec Lansing 2.0 speakers.
As for the "popping" that everyone complains about, that's unfortunately common among computer speakers in general. Even my $80 2.1 Altec Lansing speakers do this, and they're connected to a $100 HT Omega sound card. The pop really isn't that bad o
Pros: These speakers Look as good as they sound, really great for the money! Really good for gaming, they have a small foot print and take up little space but have BIG sound. Convenient tone control, headphone connector, aux port, and volume all right there on the front. Nice quality!
Cons: Not the best for music, although, I really can't complain.
Overall Review: I really love these speakers!
I've had cheap and expansive speakers over the years, and for the money, these are the best!

Solid sound for a while3/4/2018 6:24:09 PM
Pros: I've had these four years now. The extra IO is handy, the price when I got them was unbeatable, and the cabling is all plenty long. Produces nice bass for not having a subwofer.
Cons: My set have developed a bit of background noise to them when the volume is up. I think maybe the 3.5mm wire might be wearing or picking up interference.

Pros: Stylish
Sound is clean
Cons: None
Overall Review: Great basic speakers for the price and they dont distort craned way up with Five Finger Death punch so I'm happy!
Wasn't expecting a 7.1 set of $300 speakers as it seems some were who reviewed here. My opinion and everyone is entitled to theirs.......
