Bluetooth is terrible, 2.4 works fine, don't get if you want Bluetooth 6/29/2020 4:16:54 PM

Pros: Good feel to it, comfortable
2.4Ghz works good, decent range, about 12 ft then starts getting choppy

Cons: Bluetooth is terrible. The range is about 4ft. Anything beyond that and it gets choppy. After receiving the product I googled it and it seems to be a common complaint.

Overall Review: I bought this specifically because I needed bluetooth. I'm using SteamVR and that seems to have a bug where it interfers with the unifying receiver when I start the app. So I have to be very close to the computer or use a wireless mouse. This leaves me doing a juggling act with the headset and controllers since I need those to be in sight of the lighthouses when I start steamVR for it to register everything correctly. I thought getting a bluetooth mouse would help, but due to the extremely limited range of the bluetooth it looks like I'm back to having to use a corded mouse to start it up. Since this is described as a bluetooth mouse and doesn't work very well in that functionality. I'm giving it 2 eggs. If you don't care about bluetooth it's a 4 or a 5.

Excellent track ball 6/18/2020 4:20:16 PM

Pros: Comfortable
Trackball! Can be used anywhere
Excellent build quality

Cons: There is not point in the adjustable metal plate on the back, it is just one more thing to roll under the bed when you drop it.

Overall Review: This is the second one of these I have bought. My old one has finally shown signs of damage after YEARS of dropping it as often as several times a day. Even after years of abuse, it only has one button getting a little bit sticky after a bad fall. This is one tough mouse.

Good if a bit expensive 5/30/2020 11:27:58 AM

Pros: The trackball can rest either flat (like the M570) or at a 20 degree tilt. The latter is actually slightly more comfortable.

The tracking is as good as the M570. I haven't gotten used to the precision tracking (the button next to the thumb rest controls it).

Finally, bluetooth compatibility. One issue though, you need a second mouse to configure the bluetooth.

Also, finally a rechargable mouse (although the battery life on the old M570s was very good).

Cons: I'm not sure why they made the bluetooth/2.4Mhz switch is on the top. It is usually a configure once an forget it. A hardware rather than software switch on the bottom (better labeled) would have made more sense.

Except for the high precision button, the buttons are compatable with the M570, so no upgrade there.

Overall Review: I've gone through a large number of M570 trackballs. This looks like a good upgrade. I'll see if the new arm angle helps my tendonitis.

Worst mouse I have ever used! 5/27/2020 1:23:13 PM

Pros: Great feel love the tilt feature and others.

Cons: I have always used the Logitech track ball mouse with my laptops. I have gone thru at least four of them it seems te button switches wear out and become a problem clicking. Tis ne one I like the features but the switches for the buttons are very sensitive and open stuff without click the button. It become a real pain very fast and really hamper my work and creates many problems.

Overall Review: Don't recommend it go back to the good old 570 trackball,

Comfortable and Easy Setup. 5/13/2020 2:06:08 PM

Pros: - Very comfortable in your hand: I found that it reduces my hand fatigue dramatically.
- Customizable Buttons: Love the precision mood when working.
- Low Learning Curve: I've never used a trackball, but it took little to no time to figure out.
- Easy to setup: Plug it in and get going, and the pairing is fast.
- Battery Life is Pretty Good, Charges Quickly: I can get my 8 hours of work in, plug it in, and be ready to go the next day.

Cons: These are very minor issues for me but:

Adjustment is not that useful - I have only been using it for a day now but right out of the box I wasn't noticing much of a difference in the adjustment. The metal plate on the bottom lies flat, and you can shift the mouse about 20° which really didn't feel much different after using it for a few hours. Still comfortable overall.

Trackball feels sightly loose when scrolling up aggressively. It's not disruptive, but it could be annoying if you're working on a timeline all day.

Overall Review: SHIPPING: I got this in the mail a day before it was supposed to arrive. I was really impressed that I got the notification on my phone, after finding it was already delivered, and in my house! (My roommate brought it inside on my behalf).

CONTEXT: I've only owned this for a full day so far, but I'll give my initial thoughts on it's use. I use this for Adobe products (After Effects, Adobe Premiere, Illustrator, and Photoshop) and I'm usually working off a laptop and desktop. And I plan on doing some more gaming on it as well.

PRODUCT: Switching between the two is surprisingly a breeze thanks to the easily accessible buttons. The mouse itself was easy to setup and get started, and I loved the premium weight and build it has to it. However, I was a little surprised that the trackball feels slightly loose when scrolling upwards quickly. The buttons feel great, and responsive. The battery life is perfect for me and I'm on my computer usually 8-10 hours a day. Right out of the box I've been using it all day and haven't had to charge it yet , so for me, that's a good sign, because I usually leave it charging overnight anyways.
The Bluetooth is fast and responsive, although I did have to boost my mouse acceleration because I'm working on a 40" Ultrawide monitor, but now I can get to either end with one or two semi-aggressive strokes. Which balances nicely with the precision mode, that allows me to make very minute adjustment when working. I don't find my hand falling off the mouse at all, or accidentally hitting buttons thanks to the sturdiness of the build.
I have to say it's the best mouse I've owned and if you're considering making the leap to a trackball for increased productivity and decreased hand fatigue, then you should just pull the trigger on this one. For it's price point, it's a great mouse.

Absolutely love this so far! 4/27/2020 8:23:30 AM

Pros: I have been using this in my work from home temporary office and absolutely love it. It setup with my two windows 10 machines with no issues at all using the Bluetooth option.

The mouse is sturdy too. Doesn't feel cheap.

I love the button below the track ball that allows me to switch between two machines. I have an all-in-one HP that I use this on too and it works very well there as well.

The ability to choose from two different hand positions is also very pleasing.

Cons: I have only been using this mouse for a few days so I haven't found any worth mentioning yet, but will report back if I do.

Overall Review: One of the best performing and feeling track ball mouses out there that I have tried. I have been using Trackball mouses for 10+ years and this is well worth it and NewEggs price is one of the best out there right now for this Model.
