Lenovo ThinkPad E16 Gen 3 21SR0035US 16" Notebook - Intel Core Ultra 5 225U - 16 GB - 256 GB SSD - Windows 11 Pro - Webcam - IEEE 802.11ax Wireless LAN Standard

The Lenovo ThinkPad E16 Gen 3 (21SR0035US) is a 16-inch business-oriented laptop with an Intel Core Ultra 5 225U, 16GB of DDR5 memory, a 256GB SSD, and Windows 11 Pro, suited to office work, multitasking, and professional use.

Recommended For

• Office workers and students who spend long sessions writing, researching, or working in spreadsheets: reviewers found the keyboard comfortable for extended typing, and the 16-inch 16:10 screen provides room for documents and side-by-side windows.
• Business users who need a Windows Pro laptop for everyday office work, web meetings, and wired network connections: this configuration pairs Windows 11 Pro with Gigabit Ethernet, Wi-Fi 6E, and a 5MP webcam.
• People who want a large-screen work laptop they can carry between home, office, and campus, but do not need an especially compact device: the E16 is about 3.6 lb, and a review of a 64Wh version found nearly 13 hours of Wi-Fi browsing in its test; battery life can vary by configuration and use.
• Users with routine productivity workloads—documents, email, browser tabs, and video calls—who value a business-oriented keyboard and ports over gaming graphics: Notebookcheck found the Core Ultra 5 225U adequate for standard office tasks.

Real-World Use Scenarios

• For a workday of email, documents, browser tabs, and video meetings, it should handle typical office tasks smoothly; the large screen gives room to keep work visible without relying on an external monitor.
• For school or research, it can support writing papers, reading course material, researching online, and joining virtual classes; its 16-inch display is useful when switching between reference material and notes.
• For spreadsheets, reports, and routine business data work, it should manage everyday calculations and document handling; it is better suited to typical office workloads than sustained, graphics-intensive or compute-heavy projects.
• At a desk, it can connect to a wired office network and an external display for a more fixed workstation setup; this is useful for keeping a larger workspace for calls, documents, or spreadsheets.
• For video calls with colleagues, clients, or classmates, the built-in webcam and microphones support joining meetings without a separate camera; call quality will still depend on lighting, network conditions, and the meeting app.
