The Lenovo ThinkPad T16 Gen 4 is a 16-inch Copilot+ PC notebook with an AMD Ryzen AI 5 PRO 340 processor, 16GB RAM, 256GB SSD, and Windows 11 Pro, suited to professionals who want a business-focused laptop for everyday productivity and office work.

Recommended For

• Office and business users who spend the day in documents, spreadsheets, email, and video calls: Lenovo positions the T16 as a business laptop, and the reviewed Gen 4 AMD model was praised for its comfortable keyboard and everyday system performance.
• People who regularly type long reports, notes, or email and want a full-size 16-inch work laptop: Notebookcheck found the Gen 4 keyboard comfortable for extended typing and noted its numeric keypad.
• Desk-based professionals who want to connect multiple external monitors and peripherals: Lenovo’s T16 Gen 4 AMD specifications list HDMI and Thunderbolt 4 and support for up to four displays total, including the laptop screen.
• Windows 11 Pro users seeking a business-oriented laptop for routine productivity and Copilot+ PC features: this configuration pairs the Ryzen AI 5 PRO 340 with integrated Radeon 840M graphics.

Real-World Use Scenarios

• For everyday office work—writing reports, updating spreadsheets, and keeping several browser tabs open—the 16-inch display and business-focused keyboard provide a practical setup; 16GB of memory suits typical workloads, while 256GB of storage favors users who keep larger files in the cloud or on external storage.
• At a desk or home office, users can connect an external display through HDMI to keep documents or spreadsheets on one screen while working on another; this is a straightforward way to expand the workspace without relying only on the laptop display.
• For routine video meetings, the built-in webcam lets users join calls without setting up a separate camera; the actual camera quality can vary by configuration, so users with demanding video needs may prefer an external webcam.
• For business tasks away from a permanent desk—such as email, document edits, and preparing for meetings—the T16 can serve as a single work laptop; unplugged runtime will depend on the exact battery and display configuration, so a full-day estimate should not be assumed for every version.
