Pros: - Scores a 6.5 on the Windows (7) experience index - Stays pretty cool with my rosewill cooler

Cons: - Comes with the really cheap intel heatsink/cooler and that junky mounting system present in the 775 chipset.

Overall Review: I originally bought this for my older HP desktop. Unfortunately the motherboard wasn't compatible (even though it should be) and newegg doesn't return processors. My fault, oh well. I ended up building a new computer rig around this processor, and I really like it. I haven't had any issues running several intense programs at once. Seems to be a good buy for the money.

Pros: Good solid processor and currently the best value for speed vs. cost on this generation of processors. I had a LGA775 motherboard and an older E4400 Processor. I dropped this in and noticed immediate and substantial improvements. The installation was easy, came with suitable fan and only had to spend 1 minute in bios letting it detect the new processor on it's own.

Cons: None - Faster processors are available but at todays prices they weren't fast enough to justify the price (nearly double the cost on some of them for marginally more processing power).

Overall Review: Use the machine for the kids game machine. It is now able to run newer games like StarCraft II and Star Wars the Old Republic with noticeably faster load times and I was able to turn up many of the game settings to High or Ultra without any choppiness.

Pros: Works fine. No fan issues here.

Cons: 1066MHz bus can cause some weirdness if you run memory out of what is directly recommended.

Overall Review: I bought a few of these to see if there was a significant difference between these and the dual-core Celerons running at 2.6Ghz for about 1/2 the price. There isn't any significance difference to experience from what I can tell. Benchmarks, sure, but in real-life applications, it's not worth the extra $35-$40.

Pros: Good price, cpu benchmarks up there with the Core 2 Duos for half the price. Not sure how much difference the lesser cache makes.

Cons: My cpu was unstable at stock frequency of 3.06ghz. Constant blue screens. Intel Burn Test software verified it was unstable. Had to reduce the multiplier from 12X to 11X resulting in a 2.9ghz clock speed. Has been running fine since.

Overall Review: Never tried overclocking or anything like that so I'm sure the unit is bad from the factory. Newegg return process would have required I ship the product back on my dime plus be without it for a week or two. Is that really worth it for an $80 some dollar processor? I thought not so I'll live with 2.9ghz.

Pros: This is a great processor that will definitely web surf, email, wordprocess, and play games like WOW at impressive speeds. Easy to install and overclock.

Cons: Poor mounting system for stock Intel heatsink/fan.

Overall Review: Runs cool and stable at 3.8 ghz installed in a Gigabyte EP43T-UD3L with a Masscool 8WA743 aftermarket heatsink/fan.

Pros: We all know that socket 775 is going away since it is so outdated, but if you want a basic budget build for your entertainment center or a relative/friend who has limited needs or knowledge of pc`s then this is a fantastic processor. The first time I bought one of these it was to build a pc for my in-laws, so you know that had to turn out right or else......... Not only did it work well, but my mother-in-law raves about the speed, and I have to admit the boot time and over-all speed is quite respectable.

Cons: Only con is that these will go away eventually :-( And I should buy 3 or 4 to save for the future and the mobo and ram to go with it if I could afford to have that much in inventory waiting to be built.

Overall Review: Pair this processor with an ASUS P5G41T-M LX PLUS LGA 775 Intel G41 Micro ATX plus 8gigs of DDR 3 1333 and a RAIDMAX Altas ATX-295WBP Black Steel / Plastic ATX Mid Tower Computer Case 500W Power Supply and you end up with a fantastic tower that will be more than capable of doing any task you throw at it for $175 (plus freight) , you just can`t beat it, so go get it now and come back to post how happy you are !!

Pros: This is the best processor i have ever had and it can handle all of my games believe it or not even cod mw3. shipped very quick and no damage. it was a quick easy install and i works great.

Cons: so fast i might die. so easy i might cry. so cheap i might faint.

Overall Review: the 3 day shipping to foverever (waiting of course) i could not wait for it so i went to another state just to get it.

Pros: Works great. Never had an issuie with this.

Cons: out dated tech. But i knew this when i bought it.

Overall Review: hard to find a good motherboard for a 775 socket anymore
