iPower: More Voltage, More Overclocking!The HIS 7970 IceQ X² GHz Edition graphics card offers increased power supply input with two 8-pin power connectors (The AMD 7970 ref. board offers one 6-pin and one 8-pin connector) for more voltage for overclocking. Up to 18% higher current output is achieved. The extra PWM phase* for core voltage provides extra power stability and lower temperatures for power components! (*HIS 7970 IceQ X² GHz Edition has PWM Phase of 6+1+1 and AMD 7970 ref. board has PWM phase of 5+1+1.)

The two super large 89mm dual axial fans with Q&C fan blades cool the GPU directly and efficiently while keeping noise level at minimum. The extra large 40 x 47.5mm copper heatsink provides a large area to dissipate heat efficiently. Three 6mm and two 8mm wide heatpipes remove heat from the core area while memory and MOSFET heat sinks shed warmth from these areas.
