Pros: - Light. Much lighter than my Dell XPS 15 and easily portable especially for folks who need something portable but powerful - Runs cool in games at around 70 degrees. If you disable CPU boost, it runs even cooler. My games sans boost tend to hover around 62-69 degrees. - Good screen. My XPS arguably has the best screen in a Windows laptop, but the brightness here and the color accuracy comes close. Some people detected ghosting but my unit doesn't seem to have that. -great build quality. really, this feels so solid. -great battery life, especially if one uninstalls all the bloatware.
Cons: - no webcam: not an issue for me since I have a higher quality webcam but could be a deal breaker for some. - could be overpriced in some regions because of the scarcity. while SEA versions of come with more freebies like a bag or webcam, this one doesn't. -could have had better ports like an SD card reader and better port placement. also, a barrel connector is fine but it would have been better placed at the back. plus vents may hit your hands if you don't use a wireless mouse -could have better expandability--only one SSD slot and one ram stick is soldered on -mine came without a power cable, but newegg refunded me for this so I could buy one -lots of bloatware to uninstall -holes in the front are gimicky and could be a disaster to clean a year from now
Overall Review: Overall, I am in love with this device for its power and portability. I bet improved versions in the next few years would top this, but for now, this is perfect for me.
