G.SKILL Ripjaws 4 series performance DDR4 memory is designed for the ultimate experience on the latest Intel X99 platform! Whether you are processing large amounts of data or intense gaming, experience smooth system performance with the newest next-generation PC memory technology! All Ripjaws 4 memory kits are tested with G.SKILL's extensive suite of testing software to ensure maximum performance and stability. Make Ripjaws 4 the ideal choice for your DDR4 system!
With a standard of 2133MHz, DDR4 is the next generation definition of performance. Also available in 2400MHz, 2666MHz, 2800MHz, 3000MHz, and 3200MHz, the starting lineup is continuing where DDR3 left off. With capacities starting at 16GB (4GB x 4), 32GB (8GB x 4 / 4GB x 8) and 64GB (8GB x 8), your new X99 platform will have more memory space to do what you need it to do. That's not all! Ripjaws 4 also has an ultra low voltage rating of 1.2V for kits under 2800MHz and 1.35V for 3000/3200MHz!
As the 4th evolution of the Ripjaws series, Ripjaws 4 is outfitted with an all-new designed heatspreader. Available in Red, Blue, and Black! And don't worry; Ripjaws 4 has a module height of 40mm – the same height as previous Ripjaws family modules – and will be compatible with most CPU heatsinks!
Ripjaws 4 series DDR4 memory are validated for compatibility with most X99 motherboards under a series of rigorous tests in quad channel memory operations. It's guaranteed to provide the best-in-class performance, compatibility, and stability with the widest range of X99 motherboards.
Starting from 2133MHz as standard frequency, DDR4 memory delivers much higher bandwidth than previous DDR memory. You can enjoy a faster computing experience for gaming, video & image editing, rendering, and other professional applications.
Designed with a low voltage of 1.2V at DDR4 standard, this lowers the memory voltage requirement by 20% from DDR3 memory kits! Now your system can perform even faster without becoming an expensive appliance heater.
Confidently knowing your system is a combination of beauty and brawn, Ripjaws 4's new dashingly sleek heatspreader keeps your system cool and well cooled. Looks isn't everything, but your rig should look great and perform great at the same time. And don't worry; Ripjaws 4 has a module height of 40mm – the same height as previous Ripjaws family modules – and will be compatible with most CPU heatsinks!
Just set and go. Programmed with the latest Intel XMP 2.0 profiles, the only thing between you and extreme performance is a simple setting.
Frequency | CL Timing | Voltage | Capacity( Configuration) |
---|---|---|---|
2133MHz | 15-15-15-35 | 1.2V | 16GB (4 x 4GB) |
2400MHz | 15-15-15-35 | 1.2V | |
2666MHz | 15-15-15-35 | 1.2V |
Pros: The G.SKILL Ripjaws 4 DDR4 2400 have proven to be reliable and compatible for me on two different motherboards, an Asrock X99M and a GIGABYTE GA-X99-SLI, each paired with an i7-5820k. The ram heatsinks are short enough that there are no issues installing a Noctua NH-D14 SE2011. I use the XMP settings to the rated spec and have not tried overclocking the RAM. Lifetime warranty in case there are any issues.
Cons: The price of DDR4 is more than DDR3 (at this time), but is getting better.
Overall Review: I’ve used the set since October 2014. Do check to ensure you are installing the sticks into the correct slot on the motherboard, if there are more than 4 slots. The correct slots are outlined in the installation manual.
