EVGA GeForce GT 710 DirectX 12 01G-P3-2711-KR 1GB 64-Bit DDR3 PCI Express 2.0 Low Profile Video Card

Pros: My mom has an 8 year old PC that used to be the family HTPC but has since been turned into her desktop PC. A little more than a month ago the monitor would start displaying pixilization to varying degrees and at random intervals. The suspect was the on board GPU (AMD 780G) on the ASRock mobo. So I started my search for a replacement for the GPU and found this little gem which has plenty of ability for her needs and is low profile so to fit in smaller cases. Perfect. I haven't listened under heavy load but the little cooling fan on the card is pretty darn quiet for such a small unit, which is contrary to many such smaller fans. That comes as a nice surprise.

Overall Review: If your GPU needs do not require heavy gaming or video editing then this is a great candidate GPU to fill the bill.

Pros: works great, easy install, small form factor. perfect when you don't need a high end gaming graphics card with horsepower, just something to drive a 27" monitor for basic everyday use, facebook, and simple games. Does not require 6 or 8 pin supplemental power, which is why i bought it. will work in almost any pc with PCIE slot.

Cons: no display port, could be cheaper.

Overall Review: i would recommend

Pros: Fit in an old Dell low profile slot. PC Auto-Detected the Card just fine. Fedora 24 booted and also auto-detected the card. No fuss, no drivers to install (maybe Fedora did it behind the scenes). If you're looking for a video card to increase performance on your Linux system, no need to look further. Great buy!

Cons: None.

Pros: - Easily fits half-width computers such as the Dell Inspiron small desktop. - Supports up to 4K resolution. - Has a DVI port for older monitors. - Supports odd resolutions like 1920 x 1200 which was my motivation for buying the card. Dell's current integrated graphics do not support this resolution, rendering my very nice 16:10 monitor useless. - Unobtrusive drivers and Nvidia software. - Very good technical support from EVGA re: installation.

Cons: - Installation process not totally obvious to computer non-enthusiasts, i.e., people who never open up their computer case. I have not modded the inside of my computer since 2002, so I didn't realize the need to change to the low profile bracket and that the PCIe x8 connector should only fill half the x16 slot of my computer. But most Newegg buyers will know these things.

Overall Review: - I have only had this for a couple of weeks but so far I am satisfied. If it lasts the life of the computer I'll be quite happy.

Pros: Quiet Fan on Idle, No need for VGA Cable from Power Supply

Cons: none.

Pros: Small form factor Does not require external power to run Quiet

Cons: Only 1GB of DDR3 memory Don't expect to do much gaming on it

Overall Review: Just a great little card. I use it in my SFF HP system that I use for my media center. I stream 1080p content and Netflix on it all the time. It handles it great, much better than integrated graphics. Got it on sale here at NE for $30. Can't beat it. Just dont expect to play The Divison or Doom on this card

Pros: As in all three onitors are running at once - get your mind out of the gutter ;)

Cons: I wish it was the same monitor interface thrice rather than three different single interfaces, but it works...
