Pros: This tripod is lightweight and portable, yet easily supports my DSLR without any fear that it will be knocked over. Fully extended, it reaches much taller than my eye level (over 6ft). Despite most of the critical moving parts being made of plastic, they actually are quite durable and do not seem to show any signs of wearing out after 2 months of ownership. The built-in bubble level is accurate and a big help when on uneven ground.

Cons: As I said earlier, nearly all the critical moving parts on this tripod are made of plastic, so they will wear out faster than an all-metal tripod. This tripod also tends to cause a little bit more camera shake when you press the shutter button than a heavier one made of metal (Not a problem if you use a two second timer). The mechanism that tilts the camera 90 degrees to the left for portrait shooting leaves a lot to be desired- it has a tendency to tilt a few degrees too far. Also, the carrying strap on the bag is not padded or anything, but I guess I'm just nitpicking now...

Overall Review: I'm giving this tripod 5 stars because it is a good value for the money. It may not be as rock-solid as a tripod made entirely of metal, but it also much, much cheaper.

Pros: This tripod is perfect for the occasional hobbyist photographer. It is definitely worth the $19.99 I paid for it. It was a shell shocker I think. I seems like it will last for a long time if treated gently. Also, it has two bubble levels built into it. And, a nice carry case.

Overall Review: If you have a $500+ camera. Then you are probably going to want a much better quality tripod. If you have a $150 camera this tripod is for you! It works flawlessly for me.

Overall Review: The tripod itself looks ok, but the head has a lot of dings on it, definitely not a new item. A bit disappointed with this, but for the price, it's not worth going through the return process especially since functionally it's good. I'd give it 4 stars if it wasn't for that.

Cons: The strap on the bag is a little short to throw over your shoulder if your out walking around with your camera equipment.

Overall Review: This tripod was an upgrade from an old cheap-o Samsonite $9 tripod I got years ago as I needed something more sturdy to hold my DSLR. This definitely does the trick and has plenty of features to boot. I couldn't yet bring myself to drop $200+ on a pro tripod so this is a good compromise. The one I ended up getting is solid black unlike the one pictured but I was not disappointed considering it looks much better than the bronzish color shown.

Pros: This tripod is supportive enough to mount my lightweight Acer H5360 Projector. It is tall enough to allow high throws from behind my viewing position without a permanent mount. It's a better build quality then i expected for the price.

Cons: The knob and handle for vertical and horizontal alignment is very sensitive to the slightest tension adjustments. I can 't get smooth rotation with out loosing support.

Pros: It is lightweight and VERY sturdy! Sure, a lot of the parts are made of plastic, but they appear to be durable. This tripod was EXACTLY what I was looking for... I needed 2 of them to make the legs for my 8-rocket model rocket launch rack. Bought 2 of these for $20 each and free shipping! Can't even buy a piece of garbage for that! ( tighten the elevator lock knob and the center leg lock knob to make the tripod SUPER STEADY ).

Cons: I was expecting the light colored tripod, as these will be used in the sun... can anyone say HOT?!?! This is not really a con.

Overall Review: Alright, as a computer tech for 17+ years, I see people rate and compare beyond logical reason.... case and point here... comparing a $30 tripod to a $100+ tripod... the review from these people should be disregarded as junk reviews, as these people are either idio*s or beer budget millionaires. These are very durable and I don't foresee the 2 that I bought as a liability by any means!
