Pros: Does what it's advertised to do, with no issues. Provides a much-needed gigabit Ethernet port and three USB3 ports for my ASUS Ultrabook. Has DC input (but doesn't include the transformer) for heavy loads, but the USB3 spec provides sufficient power so you probably would not use it unless you connected multiple external HDDs.
Cons: Pigtail is too short at only 5 inches (13 cm), and non-removable so I can't even replace it with my own. A 12 inch (30 cm) pigtail would be much better, even if not removable. But that's a fairly minor gripe, not enough to lower my rating.
Overall Review: My ASUS laptop came with a USB to Ethernet adapter but it's only 100mbit, pathetic. This adapter solves the problem AND gives me three USB3 ports which more than negates the loss of a laptop port for this adapter's use.
