The Dell Pro 16 Plus is a 16-inch commercial AI laptop with Intel Core processors, Intel graphics, and AI-powered dual microphones, suited to professionals who want a roomy screen for everyday productivity and communication.
Recommended For
- Office and hybrid workers who spend much of the day in spreadsheets, documents, browser tabs, and video calls, and prefer a roomy 16-inch screen with a numeric keypad.
- Field and client-facing professionals who work away from Wi-Fi and want the option of built-in mobile broadband; check that the specific configuration includes the optional 5G modem.
- IT support staff and office teams who regularly connect USB peripherals, external displays, and wired accessories; the reviewed PB16250 configuration includes a mix of USB-A, USB-C, and HDMI ports.
- Organizations standardizing on Windows business laptops that value commercial positioning and configurable security and connectivity options for employee deployments.
Real-World Use Scenarios
- For a workday split between email, browser tabs, documents, and video calls, the Pro 16 Plus is suited to routine business multitasking; a reviewer reported that these tasks ran smoothly in daily IT-support use.
- For spreadsheets, reports, or data entry, the 16-inch screen gives more room to view work, and the numeric keypad can make entering figures more convenient; expect a practical office display rather than a color-critical creative screen.
- For meetings and support work away from a desk, the optional 5G WWAN configuration can connect through a supported mobile plan when Wi-Fi is unavailable; cellular service and coverage are required.
- For a home or office desk setup, users can connect external displays and peripherals through the laptop’s display and USB ports; the reviewed configuration supported the laptop screen plus up to two external monitors.
- For a full day of documents, web browsing, calls, and remote desktop work away from an outlet, one reviewer measured about 8–10 hours on a tested configuration; battery life will vary by configuration, brightness, and workload.
