Pros: Gets the job done. I no longer feel like I'm holding a toaster oven on my lap. The flat design was a selling point for me because I did not want my computer to be sitting on an angle I wasnt used to typing on. Rubber nubs on top and bottom of the pad prevent sliding.
Cons: My 15.4" laptop hangs off a bit but I guess it is better than having it take up a larger footprint than my laptop.
Overall Review: In response to another review - the only way the fan blades will rub is if you press hard on the grate protecting the fan from underneath the pad. Basically it will only happen if you do it on purpose.
Forget the touch
Pros: Large pad. Pen does not require batteries. Eraser for the pen is also a plus which the smaller bamboo models do not have.
Cons: The touch functionality constantly stopped working even after toggling the touch on/off button to confirm it is still enabled. The only solution on my asus m50 laptop would be to unplug the usb port and plug it back in until it started working again or to log off in windows 7 and log back on.
Overall Review: Customizable buttons are a plus but it does not compare to the features of the intuos4 with the adobe cs5 button and scroll wheel integration. I had to send this item back to newegg due to the lack of functionality with the touch pad features on my asus laptop running windows 7. Thanks newegg for the customer service on the return and I cannot wait to get my intous4 tablet!
Quality portable cooling fan
Pros: This product attached easily to my asus m50 laptop. There is a knob to tighten the teeth that grab onto the exaust port and attach it firmly to the grate. This fan is convenient because it directs the hot air from the exaust away from the computer. It avoids heating up the right side of my desk anything that may be on the table next to it. Now i can have a cold drink on my desk without worrying about it warming up from being close to my laptop exaust.
Cons: My gpu temperature did not have a significant drop while gaming, but now it stays in a much safer range. (before peak temp was 78c and now it stays around 74c)
