Pros: Can't get a core beyond 58C (i7-3930K) with Prime95. The day before, it went overheat shutdown while 7Zip was working on a large zip archive.
Fans are quiet enough at low loads. A little noisy at high load, but I liken it to putting lake pipes on a hot rod. It should sound like it's powerful.
Cons: Install is not for the faint-hearted. I did it myself, but helping hands would have been good. The radiator just barely fits in my full tower case without getting into the tall stuff on the motherboard.
The instruction manual says to hook the fan power to a supplied Y-cable that plugs into the pump unit so that the H100 controls fan speed. HOWEVER, the supplied cable and the fans both have female ends. No pluggy. I hooked the fans to the CPU FAN terminal on the motherboard, it seems to work just fine that way.
I wish they had offered fans with lights, with optional colors. The top of my box looks dark now. I used to have two blue LED fans up there.
Overall Review: I may one day get a couple of fans that match my lighting scheme and perhaps move a little more air than what was supplied. Then again, maybe not.
I did take everyone's advice and cleaned the factory thermal goop off. Used Arctic Silver 5.
I recommend this one highly based on first-day results. I'll post again if that changes.
Pros: I make presentatons often. Usually I'm handed the PC remote with a built-in laser pointer. My hands aren't shaky at all (yet -- I'm reeling in the years though). But those lightweight plastic things make me look shaky. They're too lightweight to control. This thing is HEAVY. My light point is extremely steady, and movements are fluid because of the weight. I'm VERY pleased.
Cons: No cons.
Pros: It's elegant, resists scratching when dropped on concrete, and elicits compliments more than my diamond-n-platinum wedding band. Sizing is exact. My wife wears the thinner companion ring.
Cons: No cons!
Pros: Zero dead spots after almost one year. It's by Samsung, so I expected excellence. I got it. Bright, vivid, wow!
Cons: No cons on this one.
Pros: Sharp, precise, nice fit for my hand. Worth every penny.
Cons: Easy prey for wife and kids to steal from my office.
Pros: Excellent battery life. Easy enough to use that my 90-year-old mom can do it. Good sound quality for reviewing on the spot. Excellent sound quality when files downloaded to my PC. Better than advertised.
Pros: How about a Windows 7 boot-up in 12 seconds flat from BIOS screen to login screen? 'Nuff said.
Cons: No cons in my opinion
Pros: Goes through tall stacks with no effort. Staples are easy to remove. Loading the thing is a snap So far, never a misfire.
Cons: My grandchildren like it a little bit too much.
Pros: I have six of these. Reliable, fast, as advertised. Hard to beat!
Cons: I cannot think of any cons.
Pros: Can't hear this fan at all. In fact, I have four of them in my case now and I can detect no increase in sound level from when the four locations had no fans.
Also - wow, what a bargain!
Cons: I can think of no cons.
Pros: Moves plenty of air, as advertised.
Cons: I intended to use this as an upgrade to the radiator fan on my liquid cooler. I had to relegate it to the bottom of my case as a floor sucker and manually set the speed very low (900 RPM), and I also put an external pushbutton switch in its circuit to kill it when my work is not stressing the processor.
Overall Review: When it was installed in draw-thru on my radiator, it brought my core temperatures down about 5°C versus the OEM fan. Not bad. If you do processor-heavy engineering like I do, it's very much worth the price if you listen to music through headphones while it's running.
Pros: Fits the phone like a glove
Belt/pocket/visor clip easy to use
Snap-fit very secure but easy to snap out
Pivoting clip stays where I put it
Cons: None really
Overall Review: Can't believe I am writing a review for a clip-on plastic phone holster...
As an engineer, I am surprisingly impressed with the quality.
Good one, Newegg
Pros: Amazing speed. Really easy to install and get going. Complete image backups in less than 30 minutes to an external USB 3.0 hard drive (Toshiba Canvio)
Cons: None that I can think of
Overall Review: Newegg is great!
Pros: Very quick to set up with Windows 7, we have four workstations and a laptop here and I think we were up and running in less than 15 minutes after plugging it in.
Pros: Faster than I expected. Runs about 28 Gflops, great for my math-intensive programs. It was easy to install an SSD and migrate my working environment to it. Lots of expansion room inside. Very quiet.
Cons: None I can think of.
Overall Review: Have recommended this machine to my associates. Have also recommended Newegg to those who have not found them yet.
Pros: Love the quietness, feel of keys, texture of keys, and appearance. Dishwasher safe is awesome for frequent coffee spillers like me.
Cons: None at all.
Overall Review: I have already recommended this product to several associates, along wth the Seal Shield mouse (purchased both at Newegg, great service)
Pros: Great feel, good fit to my hand, nice texture, dishwasher (and thus coffee) safe, overall much better than any other I've had.
Cons: Only con was original dead out of the box. I still gave five stars. Dead things can happen, but I am sure they are rare, based on the quality of the replacement.
Overall Review: Have already recommended this mouse to several others who suffer from frequent coffee spills, along with the Seal Shield Silver Seal dishwasher-safe keyboard. The keyboard (also bought at Newegg) also has a really great touch, really low keystroke sound, and good key texture.
