Worthless Piece of ***7/26/2016 9:41:49 PM

Pros: - Not a single good point about this product

Cons: - Ethernet connection does not work - USB performance is horrendous - Entire device sporadically loses connection - Took a month to even receive the item which means item was no longer eligible for return or replacement - Tracking information was never updated until it was actually delivered - Too light and poorly manufactured to even be used as a paper weight

Overall Review: - Would not recommend - Would not buy again - Will steer clear of this brand in the future

Pros: Affordable. It's cheap. When it works, it works well. Don't expect it to work long however.

Cons: Stretching an ethernet cable across my apartment and constantly tripping over it is less of a headache then this card turned out to be. When the adapter is pushed to download large files (such as downloading games with Steam) it likes to die. I could never get over 50kbps on Steam and it would disconnect every 5 seconds, locking up the PC for 30 seconds at a time.

You Get What You Pay For8/8/2015 3:06:01 PM

Pros: Affordable. Until it breaks, its a decent buy.

Cons: Cheap. Within a month of light use, the glue used on the rubber pads wore out and the pads slid right off. Then I had to scrub the rest of the glue boogers off of it. Clunky. For my fat hands, it was an okay fit. For those of you without my sausage fingers, you'll find this mouse is a bit unwieldy.

Pros: Comfortable, good sound quality.

Cons: The cord at the base of the in-line controller shorted after just a month of light use.

Overall Review: Replaced it with a cheap $10 headset that is less comfortable, and has only decent audio, but is somehow manufactured better.

Great Cooler, Poor Quality10/24/2010 2:23:13 PM

Pros: Excellent at cooling my 17.3" HP entertainment notebook while watching videos or playing games. (Or, it WAS, rather considering it no longer works after just a month.)

Cons: The quality of this product is on the poor side. The bank of USB ports (along with the power connector) feels extremely flimsy considering it wiggles a great deal. The connectors are prone to deformation, making them unusable. The corners of this device are extremely sharp! And, finally, the rubberized portion does not cover enough of the surface area to grip the front two corners of the notebook making it prone to slipping.

Overall Review: After a month or so, it has ceased to function because of the poor quality. The power connector has become weak and no longer makes constant connection. After several days of trying to wiggle the plug and prop items underneath it to remedy it, it simply does not work now.

Worst Router Ever5/15/2010 11:44:48 PM

Pros: Looks nice. Great range.

Cons: Not so cheap given that: The Internet access drops randomly throughout the day at excess. Approximately 5-6 times during the day, the entire wireless functionality of the router ceases entirely and has to undergo a hard reset. As often, if not more so, I have to flush the DNS cache, otherwise, DNS lookups fail and URLs are resolved to random unrelated URLs.

Overall Review: I've put up with this router for more than 6 months, the entire time painfully searching for a solution. Linksys/Cisco denies that there is any problems with the router, suggests I update the firmware and do a factory reset, and then refers me to my ISP who, ultimately, refers me back to Linksys. I've tried all sorts of configurations and troubleshooting with no luck. The issues that affect this router, aside from the DNS issues, mainly afflict the wireless connectivity alone, the wired connection working all the while its wireless counterpart isn't. Having done all I care to, aside from bricking it (as in smashing it with an actual brick), I've given up and committed myself to never purchasing another Linksys product.

Pros: Slick design, high quality audio (both input and out), durable, easily adjustable, and plenty of cord length to allow the headset to by plugged into the audio card from behind the tower which is tucked away inside a desk/entertainment center.

Cons: None whatsoever.

Overall Review: Yes, you can stand up, pace around your room a ways, but unless your home is tiny, you aren't going too far from the computer. And, as usual, Logitech proves why it is a big name in computer hardware.

Pros: Installed in less than 5 minutes and started right up with no issues whatsoever. There were no BIOS settings to tweak, and both Windows XP and Ubuntu Linux recognize all 2GB of RAM at their full speeds.

Cons: None whatsoever.

Overall Review: I installed this product on an old eMachines T6209 machine which supports a maxium of 2GB of RAM (1GB per channel). Needless to say, I'm thoroughly impressed and will definitely think twice about hesitating with PNY products. They are just as reliable and compatible as the more popular brands.
