It's silent...despite what MGD says.

Pros: My previous review is down a bit further, but I had to refute what MGD had said a few posts down. He said his was very loud. My experience is exactly the opposite. My system is ultra quiet now compared to my "old" system which also had an antec PSU in it. This EA650 is completely silent. I had to look at the back to make sure the darn thing was on as it doesn't make any noise whatsoever.
Cons: None - owned the thing for 6 months now and it's rock solid and silent in operation.
Overall Review: Yes, it's very plain jane looking, but I don't care what it looks like... I care how it performs and if it's silent. It passes with flying colors on both of those fronts.
Decent
![H&R Block Tax Software Deluxe + State 2024 PC/Mac [Download]](https://c1.neweggimages.com/ProductImageCompressAll125/32-732-199-01.jpg)
Pros: - Easy to use - Easy to bring in last years data from most programs
Cons: - Even though it says "Deluxe" and + STATE, you have to PAY ADDITIONAL to actually file your state taxes. I allows you 5 "free" federal files but NO state file without paying more.
Overall Review: Kind of a bait and switch program. Thinking you've paid for both federal and state, but only the federal file is free, while filing for your state will cost you additional money.
Nice

Pros: *Stable *Fast *Recognized at 1066 on first boot *Excellent Heatsinks and look very nice
Cons: NONE
Overall Review: Good memory, quick, easy and was recognized at proper timings and speed upon first boot. Haven't tried overclocking anything yet.
Great Card

Pros: *Runs fast & cool *Extremely quiet *Has 1GB memory *Factory Overclocked *Came with Crossfire connector (some other brands don't)
Cons: NONE
Overall Review: Bought one and will be buying another for Crossfire. This thing is very fast and quite the upgrade from an NVIDIA 7800GS OC. Runs Oblivion 1600x1200, all settings maxed, 4x AA, 16x Ansi with no lag. I don't really need another one, but want to have a matching set before they decide to stop making them or change the model or something. It runs very cool compared to the reference cooler and very, very quiet. I love that I can't even hear my computer now compared to my previous one.
Excellent PS

Pros: *VERY quiet *Provides clean, even power *Long cables *More than enough connections *Price
Cons: NONE
Overall Review: Great power supply. Awsome price and great product. I wish they would offer a similar PS that was modular at only a slight increase in price, but alas... this thing is great. Very quiet, works very well... I was able to tie up the extra cabling quite nicely and still have a clean install.
Nice Drive

Pros: *Fast *Runs cool
Cons: *I found that mine were the loudest part of my system when writting
Overall Review: I bought two of these and run them in Raid 1 (I got tired of re-installing OS/programs when my main HD failed, although those in my last system were Maxstor, before they were bought by SeaGate). They spin quiet, they are very fast, but when writting to disk, they are the loudest part of my system. But my system is whisper quiet though, so perhaps it's just because of that. Also, my case doesn't have rubber gromets so perhaps it is resonating sound through the case more than it should. Love the drives though...very speedy
