-2C over other top dogs

Pros: On a hot B3 stepping Q6600 that stays at full load 24/7 it dropped full load temps an average of -1.9C compared to cured in AS-5. This wasn't just a quick check but going over 48 hours of temp logs from MBM/CoreTemp. Unlike other products this requires no hot/cold cycles or cure time. Just hits the road running. Saved off my prior 70+ hours of logs with AS-5. Applied MX-2, loaded up all 4 cores for 30min, let it go back to idle for 15 minutes, reapplied full load and logged the next 48 hours. Took temp on each core every 10mins. Averaged them against last 48 of AS-5 and the difference was just a hair less than 2C cooler with the MX-2.
Cons: Out of stock often... newegg dropped the quantity discounts on this item a couple weeks ago. Would've bought few tubes for my bro and geek buddies if that had been still in effect.
Overall Review: Tube I got is substantially bigger than the small AS-5 tubes but don't really know if there's anymore in there or not. A bit lighter colored and sticker than AS-5 or Antec Formula 5. Lasts longer than Jif Creamy but doesn't taste as good. Avoid using Skippy Super Chunk, particles are too big ;-)
Works fine but not bootable

Pros: Good price, USB 3.0
Cons: I could not create a bootable drive from an image that worked another stick... Win 10 or Linux Mint (both x64)
Overall Review: Been a couple years since I came across a stick I couldn't make bootable from Linux utils. If you don't need it to boot from it add a couple of eggs to my rating.
mulit-band, multi-brand

Pros: Works well, EZ assembly and mount. Seal the joint between the two vertical parts. Also sold as Workman UV200S, Diamond X200A. Has stood up to 50mph gusts already.
Cons: Angle from mount tube to vertical can be a touch off. Mast clamps are wimpy and not standard u-clamp sized. After breaking one I had to bend a standard home store one to fit.
Overall Review: Working like a champ at 22'. A lot more repeaters usable than previous dipole @ 21'. Will be moving to different pole @ 28' soon.
also slow

Pros: Metal case, nice looking, small. If read speed is not a concern this is nice.
Cons: #9 by buffered read speed on my list of 9 sticks (sudo hdparm -t /dev/sdd). Good luck stringing it to the lanyard.

slow

Pros: Metal case, nice looking, small. Almost enough to make it worth buying.
Cons: Bottom (#9) on my buffered speed read list (sudo hdparm -t /dev/sdd) and under 33% of the speed of my top 3 or 4. Look elsewhere if read speed is a factor. Mush & Pat where same price at the time and much faster.

hot

Pros: Nice performance. Doing CAL/Open GL computing tasks it's noticeably faster than my 5830s.
Cons: With this cooling on it and the general specs on a HD5850 this should run as cool or cooler than my stock cooling HD5830s but it doesn't. Sometimes have to crank the fan up to over 80% to keep it from crashing.
Overall Review: Will probably return it to Gigabyte (waited too long to RMA it to NewEgg) and give another one a try. I've got to assume this is just a bad one.
