Excellent Memory

Crucial Ballistix 2GB (2 x 1GB) DDR2 1066 (PC2 8500) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model BL2KIT12864AA1065
Crucial Ballistix 2GB (2 x 1GB) DDR2 1066 (PC2 8500) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model BL2KIT12864AA1065

Pros: Crucial produces high quality, dependable, reliable and extremely fast memory. I've owned other crucial products in the past and never have had a problem. All still functioning. This runs as stated at 5,5,5,15 at 1066mhz and beyond. Don't know the speed limit but it did go above 1100mhz at stock voltage. I can run 1000 mhz at 4,4,4,12 testing ortho blend for hours w/o failure. Boots and runs fine in abit IP35 pro.

Cons: None.

Overall Review: Good heat sink design that allows air flow out the top between the two sinks on either side of the memory board which other memory heat sinks do not.

Most Critical Review

Does not form a good bond at all.

Arctic Silver Arctic Alumina 5g Thermal Adhesive Set AATA-5G
Arctic Silver Arctic Alumina 5g Thermal Adhesive Set AATA-5G

Pros: It was cheap

Cons: Failed x3. I applied this three times to a cheap video card whose stock fan had failed. Used an old Intel P3 heatsink. Sanded the heatsink for a nice flat connection. Mixed the epoxy as directed for 1 minute, fixed heat sink on, and left to set. My first try I left it overnight and it snapped off as I picked up the video board by the heat sink. The only pressure that applied to the bond was the force of gravity and it immediately came free. Tried twice more after sanding the dried epoxy off the chip and heatsink. Both times the bond failed. I finally applied some superglue to the very edge of the chip and applied the epoxy to the center. That bond held, but unfortunately the board was damaged during the process, probably during the scraping and sanding off of the failed epoxy from the previous attempts. Thankfully it was a cheap video board.

Overall Review: I've had good results with other Arctic Silver products, but this one was no good for me.

Plenty of power. charges pixel 7 four times, and Firemax 11 tablet twice. No more hunting outlets in airports.

Anker 737 Power Bank 24000mAh 3-Port Portable Charger | 140W Output | Smart Digital Display | Compatible with iPhone 15/15 Plus/15 Pro/15 Pro Max, iPhone 14/13 Series, Samsung, MacBook, Dell, AirPods

Pros: This is a great battery power bank. Stores enough energy to charge my pixel 7 almost 4 times. It has enough juice to charge my Fire Max 11 tablet fully twice with a bit left over. That's plenty of stored charge to get me through a long weekend of travel. Plenty of power for a couple to travel from USA to Europe, Asia, pretty much anywhere. Helpful screen lets you know what is charging at each port, and lists useful info about the overall health of the battery

Cons: I want another one for my spouse

Overall Review: I definitely recommend this to family, friends, and randos that pass by.

Love it

ASUS Eee PC 1000 40G – Pearl White NetBook Intel Atom 10.0" Wide SVGA 1GB Memory 40GB SSD Integrated Graphics

Pros: No problems with this whatsoever. I tested wired lan, wireless lan, bluetooth, usb, audio, sd, camera and everything else it came with. Everything worked right out of the box. I use this primarily to do basic office work, watch video files, and surf the internet. The version of Linux installed is fine. I thought I'd try out some other versions, but really don't have the need to. Upgraded the memory to 2 gigs easily just in case I want to install winxp later. Video files played fine with the 1 gig installed memory. Plays avi, mpeg without any lagging. Video and audio sync well. The neoprene cover it comes with is flexible enough to keep earbuds, network cable, sd cards, and power cables all tucked in nicely together.

Cons: Yes, the right shift key is awkward but I knew that when I purchased it.

Overall Review: I ordered this through newegg and it came a couple of days later than when the shipping company guaranteed. Newegg refunded my shipping no problem even though it was the shippers fault. I hope they got their money back from the shipper, but I thank them all the same.

Works fine

CORSAIR 2GB 200-Pin DDR2 SO-DIMM DDR2 667 (PC2 5300) Laptop Memory Model VS2GSDS667D2
CORSAIR 2GB 200-Pin DDR2 SO-DIMM DDR2 667 (PC2 5300) Laptop Memory Model VS2GSDS667D2

Pros: Easily installed in my Asus EEE pc 1000 (linux version with SSD drives only). Works well. Cheap. Never had a problem with Corsair memory.

Cons: None.

works fine but some quality issues remain

SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 3450 512MB GDDR2 PCI Express 2.0 x16 CrossFireX Support Graphics Card 100234HDMI
SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 3450 512MB GDDR2 PCI Express 2.0 x16 CrossFireX Support Graphics Card 100234HDMI

Pros: Does what it's intended to do, no problems with install on winxp

Cons: Two of the metal connector strips at the bottom of the card, which connect within the motherboard socket, had broken off or flaked off the video board somehow. The missing sections amounted to about 1/3 of the strip. Apparently there was enough of the each of the two damaged connectors left for it to work though. I do have questions about the quality of the manufacturer. I doubt I'll buy this brand again.
