Pros: Ive used ASUS MB for a lot over the years. The last 3 Ive used were a nightmare.
Cons: Onboard sound crackles and cuts out, Ive tried different drivers that it came with and downloaded from the ASUS website. All of them with same results. The onboard lan never worked drivers from ASUS web site would not install, giving me error that no lan port was available for the drivers to install. Updated the Bios thinking maybe that was the problems with sound and lan port. Still same results. Installing a sound card and Ethernet card was the only thing that would fix it. After using it for a week I was getting I/o errors. That was it boxed it backup and got a RMA from Newegg. Bought an MSI MB and havent looked back.
Overall Review: I cannot recommend this board. Ive used ASUS MB over the years for my builds without any problems. The last 3 boards from ASUS have been bad. ASUS needs better quality control.
Pros: Bought an ASUS MB gaming plus and It never ran right. Kept giving me errors when I was trying to set it up. I have no Cons with my MSI MB booted up on the first try and has been running great since. Ive used both MSI, ASUS, and Gigabyte MB. Mainly ASUS boards. The last 3 ASUS Ive setup went bad right away or within a couple weeks.
Cons: I have no Cons with this MB, easy to setup and just works great.
Overall Review: I will be buying more MSI MB. This has been a joy setting up and get it running. Easily OCs my Intel 11900K chip and runs cool at the same time.
Pros: Has 4 memory slots, Lots of options in BIOS. Great all around socket 1200 MB from MSI.
This is my second MB. Bought 1 in 12/31/20 & another on 1/12/21
Cons: No cons for MSI MB. Cons are for UPS shipping. Ordered first board 12/31/20 it got here and works with no problems. Ordered the second MB on 1/12/21 and it arrived within a smashed wet box that smelled like perfume. The box was completely smashed and soaking wet with perfume smell even the manual book was dripping wet still. The MB box fell apart once I got MB and all parts out of it. I quickly set it up to make sure everything works. For now everything works great. It comes with a 3 year warranty from MSI but now I have no MB box from MSI to send it back in if it fails before the 3 year warranty is up. Still after looking at box it was shipped in, I can't believe it works at all.
Overall Review: Another great Motherboard from MSI. Been using MSI for the last several years for motherboards that I build for friends and family have not had any problems with any of them.
Thanks MSI & Newegg
Pros: Works out of the package.
Been using it for a couple of days now with no problems.
Crucial memory has always been good for me.
Overall Review: I would defiantly recommend this to anybody that is looking to upgrade to more memory.
Have 32gb's in my main laptop now. Really notice the difference that it makes.
All of my auto-cad programs work alot faster thanks to this upgrade.
Pros: Works great for me.
Comfy cushion, I sit almost 8 to 9 hrs a days & this cushion keeps my tail from going to sleep.
Cons: No Cons, it just works.
Overall Review: Highly recommend this to others that have to sit at desk for long periods of the day.
Pros: The material seems to be very good.
Mouse slides across it with ease.
Photo is nice & has clear lines and color.
Cons: Not really any cons yet.
Overall Review: I would defiantly recommend this to somebody else that needs a good mouse pad.
Pros: Cool and quiet. Running it now at stock settings. Plays all of my games 60+ FPS at 1080P. Drivers work haven’t had any hiccups yet with the card. Temps are not bad under 50C in my cooler master case. Sapphire cards have always worked great for me.
Cons: None so far
Overall Review: Sapphire brand cards are the best. Never had any problems so far with their cards. Runs cool and quiet. I would defiantly recommend this card if you don’t have the money for a better card.
Pros: Easy to overclock my i7 8086K up to 5.0ghz with 1.24 volts. VRM's stay cool. 2 M.2 slots with one cooler for your drive. No back plate to install in your case.
Cons: None, well maybe more sata ports. only has 6 plus 2 m.2 ports.
Overall Review: Nice lay out. not to many RGB lights. This MB was easy to OC my i7 CPU to 5.0ghz with 1.24 volts. 3 year warranty. I've always bought either MSI or Gigabyte MB's. They seem to last and have a great warranty.
Pros: Arrived fast. Works with no problems.
Cons: Will give you an error that the cartridges are not HP genuine cartridges. My HP 8610 lets me skip the prompt and still prints.
Overall Review: I recommend these cartridges, for the money they work OK.
Pros: The graphics are clear & crisp. Excellent oc’s on memory & core clock. Runs all my games maxed out, with cool temps. Best card I’ve purchased ever. Buy it & you won’t be disappointed.
Cons: Cons & i’m Nit picking. You need to plan on your setup when you purchase this. My case a Cooler Master HAF XB EVO. I had to move my AIO 240 rad to the outside front of it, to make room for this gpu card. The length of card was hitting the cooler by 1/4”. Bought an EVGA SuperNova 1000 to power my setup, just in case it was needed (it wasn’t my 850 would have worked with NP).
Overall Review: Love this card, got it for $499.00 & $50.00 dollar gift card off that also. Paid $459.99, & with 3 day shipping it got to my front door quick. Always bought Nvidia cards that play my games with NP & high FPS. Bought this card after reading reviews on it. Bought the Sapphire brand after hearing my friends tell me they last longer than other brands. Hope it lasts till gpu prices get back to normal (is there is such a thing). LOL
Pros: OC’s my i7 to 5.0ghz easily. Vrm’s stay cool when OC cpu. Went with Asus as my first choice it arrived DOA. Bought this as my replacement & it has been flawless since day 1.
Cons: None yet. I’ll update if I have problems later on.
Overall Review: Excellent MB for the money spent. Great over clocker MB. Easily has my i7 8086K running at 5.0ghz with only 1.22 volts. Have it running at those speeds while cooling it with an AIO 240 setup, never gets hot, stays below 60C
Pros: Cheap price, easily oc’s CPU (5.0ghz/8086K) super easy bios. MSI board has been great. It’s been running solid for almost 60 days now.
Cons: None that I have.
Overall Review: Highly recommend this Z370 board for getting into the 8th gen Intel cpu’s & DDR4 memory.
Pros: OC’s easily. Got mine running @5.0ghz with 1.28V on a gigabyte Z370 AUROS gaming 5 MB.
Cons: Wasn’t free
Overall Review: Upgraded to a 8th gen MB, CPU, and Memory. Love this setup plays all my games easily with my NVIDIA 1080 ti video card.
Pros: For the money best upgrade to bootup & access times.
-Certainly not the most expensive M.2 drive or PCIe drive on the market.
-Read/write speeds are blistering fast.
-Noticeable improvement versus my 850 512gb evo sata ssd.
-Super easy install.
Cons: None: It worked as specified
Overall Review: This thing is unreal how fast it performs, I think I just removed the last performance bottleneck in my PC build.
Pros: Has nice features that do not work with Win10
Cons: Bought this board as a combo deal and have had good luck with MSI products before. MB says it's win10 compatible, it's not. I bought a Samsung m.2 512GB drive to go along with this build and a GTX 1080. Motherboard installs win10 64bit with no problems. Then I cannot get it to see my GTX 1080, sometimes it will see it and when I try to install Nvidia drivers it says I have no compatible video card and will not install the drivers. I've updated the bios the latest one still no luck. I install win7 and have no problems with install except it still does not see my GTX 1080 card. I've tried the 1080 in a different computer and it works great NP's. I've tried a different video card (GTX 750) and it works great. I'm going to return the MSI board and buy a Gigabyte MB, I know it will work. I have a friend that has the same components on a gigabyte GA-X99 ultra gaming MB and has had no problems with it for the 6 months he has owned it. Do not buy this board if you plan on using win10 with a M.2 drive and a GTX 10 series card.
Overall Review: I would not recommend this mother board to anybody. If I could give it no stars I would, worst MB I've ever bought.
Pros: Works with Win7 when it doesn't even say it does.
Cons: I was hesitate at first to order this since it isn't really supported with win7. For the money it was not a big deal if it didn't work. Got it in mail popped it into the computer and win7 found it and installed the drivers. It has worked with no problems so far.
Overall Review: It hasn't went up in smoke so far and even works with Win7 pro 64bit.
Pros: Queit, Big fans, Nice colors. Reasonably priced for an OC card out of the box. Runs great with the games I play.
Cons: not much in the way of extra's in the box.
Overall Review: I have a MSI GTX770 also in another computer. The 760 is almost as fast as the 770. No free games. :(
Pros: Works great, fast connection @ 300Mbps, use the drivers on disk for Win7/64 bit.
Overall Review: works great for 17.99 with shipping.
Pros: Bought 16Gb's for cheap
Easily OC to 10-10-10-28-1T with 1.5V's at 2133MHz.
Cons: Always out of stock
Overall Review: Buy some today
Pros: OC's like crazy
1,000 core/1475 memory @ stock volts
Stays cool on auto
Fan is semi quiet
Driver's work for me
Cons: None @ the moment.
Still playing with it.
Overall Review: Still expensive wait if you can
Pros: small in physical size, fits on my key chain, holds all of my work files FOR NOW. cheap for the room you get.
Cons: slow, but most USB 2.0 drives are slow
Overall Review: nada
Pros: Beast of a video card. One of the best single gpu cards out there today. I'm using it with 2-28" monitors and it just chews games up and looks great on both of them. Games @ 1920X1200 just look excellent. Quiet fans @ 55% OC's to 950mhz out of the box with no extra volts. Stays under 55c playing crysis 2 for hours in a 78F ambient room temp.
Cons: A little pricey but well worth it. Quiet and powerful....
Overall Review: Wish I would have bought 2 of them. That just gives me something to save for in the future..:)
Pros: Runs cool and over clocks great. The fans even @ 100% are quiet. I have mine on a gigabyte 1156 ud2 board, with a 655K CPU mounted on a lian-li tech bench and this thing handles anything I throw at it.
Cons: None I'm loving it.
Overall Review: This is my 6th gigabyte 400 series card, I run folding@home and have a gigabyte fermi farm. I over clocked this one to 1000/2000/2000 and it produces around 10,500 PPD, almost as good as my GTX460 hawks cards do. Just a couple of thousand less PPD than what the hawks produce. Cost over a 100.00 dollars less also. I'm going to buy a couple more of them in a few weeks, hoping the price goes down on this card. For the money this is a heck of a card.
Pros: Nice card, Over clocks great, Stays cool with the right fan speed. Plows through anything I use it for.
Cons: I didn't buy two of them, is big but not for my Dimas tech bench.
Overall Review: I installed mine with a Danger Den water block the first month after I bought it then Overclocked it to 850mhz core clock with just 1.025 volts. Never gets above 45C, I run folding@home 24/7 and game also. I turn folding off and play games. and it never gets above 45C. Wish I would have both 2 of them for sli on my gigabyte UD3R board.
Gigabyte UD3R MB
i7 960 OC to 4.2GHZ
12GB of Gskill trident 2000mhz
Gigabyte GTX480 VC
2/1GB Seagate HD's in Raid 0
1/2TB storage drive
cpu and gpu watercooled.
Pros: Im in love with this card, so much I want 2 of them in SLI. It runs cool and quiet overclocks to 790MHZ without a voltage tweak...Idle is about 43C Load is about 58C to 63C..
Overall Review: The 3 fans run very quiet even if you crank them up to 100% which I did just to test them. 100% is not needed to keep this card cool. I don't have mine in a closed case, I use a dismatech bench so mine is out in the open at all times. I'm sure it will run alittle hotter in a closed case.
