Works correctly

IOGEAR GCS614A 4-Port PS/2 KVM switch with build-in cables and audio support

Pros: works as advertised,,easily switches between PC's.

Cons: The actual switching is not INSTANTANEOUS. It takes 2 to 3 seconds, sorta like a lag. Since installing it, I have noticed an intermmitent hum/buzz from the speakers on 2 diffent occassions, like a radio-type interference. I am hoping that it will go away.

will not work with kvm

Perixx PERIPRO-401 PS2 USB Cable Cord Adapter for Keyboard and Mouse with PS/2 Interface, Built-in USB Controller and Support PS2 Port of KVM Switch, Black

Pros: should work when there is no KVM involved.

Cons: did not work with my IOGEAR GCS614A 4-Port PS/2 KVM. According to IOGEAR tech support, the IOGEAR 614 will NOT work with any PS/2 to USB converter!

correct timing ?

Patriot 2GB (2 x 1GB) DDR 400 (PC 3200) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model PDC2G3200LLK

Pros: automatically came up 2.5-3-3-5 on my asus A8N-SLI premium. modified Bios to 2-3-2-5 and it burped the 1st time rebooting it,,but subsecuently it has booted OK.

Cons: newegg site indicates timings at: 2-3-2-5. But Patriotmem.com site posts 2.5-3-2-5 . Memtest-86 ver 3.2 is popping up errors as I write this, But the PC has been performing stably. Should I be worried ?
