Good Motherboard for the price

Foxconn M61PMP-K AM3 NVIDIA MCP61P Micro ATX AMD Motherboard
Foxconn M61PMP-K AM3 NVIDIA MCP61P Micro ATX AMD Motherboard

Pros: Shipped Extremely fast! (Thanks Newegg and UPS) Nice Looking board, lots of BIOS options and nvidia RAID setup. Auto Detected my 2 IDE optical drives and SATA II WD hard drive with no issues. Clearly Labeled Board. Auto Detected RAM and CPU at correct settings. Good Price, worked great for refurbishing an old Compaq.

Cons: none.

Overall Review: Onboard Video comes preset at 128MB Buffer, you can set this up to 256MB in the BIOS. 4GB DDR3 1066 used. 3.0Ghz AMD Athlon II 250 used. CPU and Stock Heatsink Mounted to this board perfectly.

...Dissapointment

Linksys WMP300N High-speed Wireless-N Wireless Adapter IEEE 802.11b, IEEE 802.11g, Draft IEEE 802.11n 32-bit PCI Interface
Linksys WMP300N High-speed Wireless-N Wireless Adapter IEEE 802.11b, IEEE 802.11g, Draft IEEE 802.11n 32-bit PCI Interface

Pros: Barely works sometimes.

Cons: This card drops out connection all the time and is getting horrible data transfers and signals, the rest of my network devices are running just fine, and at more than twice the speed, it's very noticeable even while internet browsing. My darn laptop runs faster. You'd think with that big ol' antenna and the fact it's an expensive Linksys product that it'd be top of the line. Compatibility sucks with Windows 7 as well, the new driver in Windows Update for it causes it to fail and you have to roll back the driver just to get it to work again.

Overall Review: Buy the Cheap Rosewill N adapter, it has way better reviews , and it just works. Or something D-Link. My D-Link router has been extremely fast and compatible for me, plus D-link supports they're products unlike Linksys apparently.

Rosewill RNX-N300X IEEE 802.11b/g, IEEE 802.11n Draft 2.0 (PCI Interface) Wireless Adapter (2T3R) Up to 300Mbps Wireless Download Data Rates 64/128-Bit WEP, WPA PSK and WPA2 PSK (TKIP and AES)

Pros: Works way better than my old Linksys Wireless N card, which kept dropping out on windows 7. This card is cheap, and fast, no complaints, works great.

Cons: none

Overall Review: windows 7 auto detected, connection speeds over 78 Mbps in living room, router in bedroom.

Nice board

GIGABYTE GA-EP45-UD3P LGA 775 Intel P45 ATX Intel Motherboard
GIGABYTE GA-EP45-UD3P LGA 775 Intel P45 ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: Looks like the SATA layout is great, even with a big card like a 4780 or 280, it wont block them, especially if you're using right-angle SATA cables. I would buy this board, it's got everything you need for that low price!

Cons: none, havn't bought it yet :P
