Great Deal

Pros: This is a great value for the money. The specs every state that it is a WXGA screen, but the unit I had actually came with a screen res of 1440 x 900, making it a WXGA+ screen. I don't know if it was a mistake but it's one that I think is great. The unit is solid Asus quality and comes with recovery disc and drivers disc. Many companies don't even provide that for you anymore. For the value, this laptop runs great and is solidly built. There's no Asus carry bag or mouse, but I didn't expect there to be one anyway. The warranty is great for a computer, standard 2 years, and a zero bright pixel policy is nice to have. This is a laptop for LIGHT gaming, the video card isn't that strong, but is plenty enough for photo-editing and watching HD movies etc. Great buy for 800 bucks. Thanks newegg.
Cons: There is a slight bit of keyboard flex on the top right-most delete key, and a little bit of light leakage at the bottom of the LCD when the screen is all black, but those are extremely minor qualms.
Overall Review: As a note, this model comes with 32-bit Vista, so technically only 3 gigs of ram will be available to you unless you upgrade to 64-bit Vista yourself or to Windows 7 later in the year.
