High quality power supply!!

Pros: I purchase this PSU to replace my older one. Mainly because I saw the online review that this PSU has ultra low AC ripple and noise (Measeuerd at both high frequency and low frequency)! another good thing is that has higher efficiency that my older one. I use my PC mainly for music listening, I recently purchase the ASUS HDMI sound card(you can see my review there), I thought it sound good, but with this low noise PSU, it sounded even better! Recomended for people wants to build an high quality Home Theater PC!!
Cons: None!
Overall Review: I purchase this PSU mainly for it's low ripple and noise, so I can get way better sound quality out of PC, I notice the sound quality sounded way smoother, cleaner and amazing compare to the noisey PSU I use to got! With low noise is more friendier to the hard drive too, so if has less chance to get data corruption!!
It is totally a beast!!

Pros: Good sound quality, sounded more dynamic more smoother and powerful than my older Onkyo 603X. It plays loud and clear, it can play so loud that my spaker went distorted!! It is heavy, 54 pounds! It is hard to move around, which it means hard to get stolen :) 3 Transformers, and almost like modular amplifier stage, but it all share the same power supplie and transfomer.
Cons: For a receiver in this price range (2000+ retail price) I would expect better sound quality than this. It has quite a big in-rush current, but it is common for the toroidal tranformers. The Audessy XT make musics sound a lot more Dynamic, but at the same time it makes it sound fake, almost like the software WOW or SRS they use in PC.
Overall Review: I'm connecting it with my PC. Using an Asus HDMI deluxe( it has the Burr Brown PCM-1796 DACS, wich only can be found in 3000+ receivers) sound card, sounds fabulous with PC gaming! I'm sure it will be better to use an external amplifier for the Front main speakers, since most of the time we listen to music at 2 ch expect moveis. I give the rating at 4 eggs because I simply think the sound quality can be little it better with this receiver at this price range.
Nice sound quality

Pros: Sounds really clean, very dynamic, more balanced tone(specially the highs), the midrange are so liquid like and warm. The bass is more punchier and extends to deeper bass and more proper overtones. Everytime I listen to music and every track I was amazed the detail and cleaner background sound, there always some detail I never heard on the previous sound card I owned!
Cons: Could easily tell that how mp3 music sounds really horrible(I see this as a PRO many people for sure is a CON). Altough I use looseless .wav files. One thing really botters me is the driver: while I am listening to music, sometimes the left and right channel switched, many people may not notice (maybe playing games may easily notice for most of people, because gunfire sounds are reversed than what you see on screen), but for an Audiophile like me is totally unacceptable, this maybe can fix it throgh driver bug fix(Hopefully, I already sent the E-mail to ASUS, hope they don't tell me is the hardware problem) Even I said the bass is deeper, but it aren't that deep compare to a DVD player playing the same movie or music, but it is way better compare to the previous card I own.
Overall Review: My sound equipments: Onkyo 603X receiver, Klipsch RB-51 speakers, 2 Subwoofers: Velodyne DLS-3500R and a car sub, A kicker 400W mono amp, a 1.5Farad cap and Rockford P3-15inch in a sealded car subbox. The sound quality may be improve even more if usuing a high quality power supplie, such as the one has super low AC ripple, Many electronic enthusiastics probably know what I am saying because audio equipment is very sensisive to the dirty power source! One big thing to remember for the owner of this card, don't turn the individual channel volume up, keep it at defalt, because there will be some high frequency clipping if you turn it up high, it will be fine to turn the master volume to max, but don't touch the individual channel volume! Also give several days for the new soundcard to run in, before expecting great sound.
