Man I love this card!
Pros: Been playing Borderlands 3 and Control @ 4K at high settings (60Hz), and it is amazing.
Overall Review: I have always bought EVGA, for both the quality of their products and their support team. Never had an issue replacing hardware or getting help with issues. I didn't pay attention to all the YouTube reviews that recommended a pass on this card. I came from an EVGA GTX 1080 FTW2, and have not regretted it once!
Bought to pair with the DeepCool GPU Support.
Pros: Seems like a nice design, easy to install.
Cons: DID NOT WORK. Couldn't get it to light up their own GPU Support w/RGB.
Overall Review: My mother board did not have a 3-pin ARGB header, only a 4-pin RGB one. I was told to purchase this device to convert ARGB to RGB. After installing the device, I did not get any light at all out of the GPU Support. I verified with DeepCool support that I had it connected properly.
Certainly Better than the Manufacturer was offering!!
Pros: Dirt Cheap for a 10 device yearly license. BitDefender didn't seem to want to cut me any kind of deal on the renew, and when I saw it on Newegg for a fraction of what they were asking I jumped at it! The product works very well, been a customer of this software company for years now.
Cons: Pathetic that I can get my license updated (renewed) for 1/3rd the price that BitDefender was asking me to pay to remew!! But thanks Newegg!
Overall Review: This is one of the best AV/Security packages you can buy (PERIOD). Low overhead on the PC to run it, unlike the other two big guys in this space! It doesn't bog you down with tons of alerts or messages, and seems to do most of the work silently.
Replaced a 360 Radiator!
Pros: Replaced an EVGA 360 AIO cooler that was making strange noises... Temps are good as or better than what I had before.
Cons: Limited RGB selection when using autonomously (not with ARGB/RGB motherboard connection).
Overall Review: I was a bit skeptical when I bought this AIO for a couple of reasons. I wasn't sure it would be able to handle the CPU temps as well as the 360 radiator that I had before. And I didn't have any experience with CM AIO coolers. But the price was just too low to pass up, and It was far more attractive than the EVGA AIO I had been using! Unfortunately, I am not using the MSI Mystic Light RGB ecosystem, so I needed to rely on the manual provided selector switch that comes with the cooler. The only issue is that there is a very limited set of color patterns to choose from ( I think there is 7 or something like that). I just use the default multi-color one). It is fairly quiet, and I haven't noticed any pump noise at all. So far so good!!
Pros: Really like the modular style power supply. Matches the case perfectly
Cons: First one was DOA, but the RMA replacement works flawlessly!
Overall Review: I really like the idea of the matching case and power supply with its modularity. It's very clean and I really like the way the cable management ended up. A bit steep on price but for me it was worth it. The case is a reverse layout, which I needed for it to work in my environment. The power supply is solid. Had problems with the DOA power supply originally but after working with Newegg and SeaSonic to get it replaced, it all works well.
Delivery Notification Was A Bit Delayed!
I received my order about 3 days after I ordered it. I never received any ship notifications or any other information after I ordered it. The item showed up on my door step unannounced, and I didn't think much of it until I received a notification that it had shipped this was 2 WEEKS AFTER I had already received the order! LOL. I then received a "Order has been delivered" notification today after another couple of days. Something got REALLY messed up in the shipping process. But since I did receive the item, no harm done.
Very Solid and Quality Power Supply
I had heard good things about Super Flower from reading tech magazines and online reviews. This is the first time purchasing from them, and I have to say that I'm really impressed with this unit. I would easily put this up against power supplies costing much more (especially since it is rated 80+Gold!)
