Overall Review: I am amazed that I can go to any HD product review section, and there is at least one person complaining how they "lost" GBs after formatting or windows robbed them out of GBs, and their tech level is always marked "high".How can you have a "high" level of tech knowledge and not know the difference between binary GBs and decimal GBs???? HD manufacturers use decimal GBs, which are equal to 1,000,000,000 bytes OSes use binary GBs(gibibyte or GiB), which are equal to 1,073,741,824 bytes So you're NOT losing anything and every byte you paid for is still there, period
