WAVLINK USB 3.0 to SATA I/II/III Dual Bay External Hard Drive Docking Station for 2.5/3.5 Inch HDD/SSD Hard Drive Enclosure with UASP, USB A to USB C Converter Support Offline Clone Duplicator, 2X12TB

Pros: Easy operation, fairly quick cloning.

Cons: Instructions could be clearer, reads like electronic translation from Chinese to English

Overall Review: I bought me one because my brother had one and I saw what it could do. My brother needed to clone his wife's laptop hard drive to a Samsung SSD. For some reason the Samsung Cloning software wouldn't even install. Other software's said it had too many partitions. So he bought the Wavelink ST334U. Was able to clone his wife's Dell drive to the SSD perfectly. He had a old Dell desktop with vista on it that belonged to a friend. It would only boot to the bios showing hard drive error. He removed the hard drive(2007 date) and tried to recover the files to another computer with an external usb adapter made for hard drives. It would not read it or lock the other computer up plus it was making a clicking sound like the"click of death" .My brothers Wife said 'Why don;t you try it in the Wavelink". He had a spare empty drive and set it up to clone the "clicker" and the next morning he checked the spare drive and was able to see all the files! I was amazed so I ordered one for me.

If you are going to use Crucial, get the MX500 not the BX500

Crucial BX500 2.5" 960GB SATA III 3D NAND Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) CT960BX500SSD1
Crucial BX500 2.5" 960GB SATA III 3D NAND Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) CT960BX500SSD1

Pros: Good warranty, dependable, reasonable price, faster than mechanical drive.

Cons: Slower than The MX in a SATA II computer

Overall Review: I used the BX500 to upgrade an older computer and found it is slower than a MX500 in a identical computer, the MX500 is a lot peppier on SATA II. Pay the extra bucks and get a MX.

Works fast until it runs out of Cache!

Intel 660p Series M.2 2280 1TB PCIe NVMe 3.0 x4 3D2, QLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) SSDPEKNW010T8X1
Intel 660p Series M.2 2280 1TB PCIe NVMe 3.0 x4 3D2, QLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) SSDPEKNW010T8X1

Pros: Good price, dependable, good warranty.Bought in 2020, 2022 update, replaced with a Samsung 2TB I caught on sale, My motherboard only has one M.2 slot so I bought a PCIE adapter card and I am using the 660P for extra storage, still good for basic storage.

Cons: Works fast until it runs out of Cache! I was transferring some large video files from a 2.5 ssd mounted in my computer and after it ran out of cache the transfer rate dropped down to 99Mb ps. It started out at 200.

Overall Review: It is OK for general purpose use but if you are going to transfer a lot of big files it will run out of "gas" quick

Got the Ryzen 7 3700X because the 2700X was all most as much price wise

AMD Ryzen 7 3rd Gen - RYZEN 7 3700X Matisse (Zen 2) 8-Core 3.6 GHz (4.4 GHz Max Boost) Socket AM4 65W 100-100000071BOX Desktop Processor
AMD Ryzen 7 3rd Gen - RYZEN 7 3700X Matisse (Zen 2) 8-Core 3.6 GHz (4.4 GHz Max Boost) Socket AM4 65W 100-100000071BOX Desktop Processor

Pros: More power ,overclock-able, came right up on my MSI B450 tomahawk,Max board. Addendum: Installed in 2020 on my new build and still going strong, no issues at all! Looking at the 5700X but probably not worth spending the extra money!

Cons: Heat sink that comes with it is OK, running 43C (in Ryzen Master) watching vids on You tube but I think I will change to Mugan 5 for my video rendering.MSI B450 tomahawk,Max.

Overall Review: Good processor, get a better heat sink! Still running strong in 2022!

Great Product, resonable price,RKV-18003 2-port USB HDMI KVM switch

Rosewill RKV-18003 2-Port USB HDMI KVM Switch with Audio, Built-In Cables and Remote Switch
Rosewill RKV-18003 2-Port USB HDMI KVM Switch with Audio, Built-In Cables and Remote Switch

Pros: Easy to hook up, fits my needs.

Cons: Could be a little bit longer cables.

Overall Review: Bought one last year and has worked great! I have a vintage 2011 computer that is still going and one I built last year. They are about 5 feet from each other. With the KVM switch I can used the same Monitor, keyboard Mouse and audio amp on two computers. I have an old KVM but it is VGA and PS2.I needed a USB and HDMI and this fit the bill! I am just using it to switch to my old computer to surf the web while the new one is doing video rendering and such. I am using a cheap $19 wireless Logitech keyboard and mouse and plugged the dongle into the keyboard side of the KVM. It does work with wireless devices!

The advertised Dimensions are wrong!

DIYPC J180-W White Dual USB3.0 ATX Mid Tower Gaming Computer Case with 2 x 120mm Fans (Pre-Installed)
DIYPC J180-W White Dual USB3.0 ATX Mid Tower Gaming Computer Case with 2 x 120mm Fans (Pre-Installed)

Pros: Good price,looks good

Cons: The advertised Dimensions are wrong Dimensions (H x W x D) 19.40" x8.00" x 20.00" Actual H x W x D are 18 1/2 (not counting the feet)X 8", X 17 1/8" front to back not 20" like it says. The people at DIYPC need new measuring tapes! Had a friend with another DIYPC case had the same issue!

Overall Review: Had to mount Blu-ray drive in top mount because case was so short the drive was hitting the 24 pin plug on the motherboard. Holes in case not located optimally for wire management.
