Pros: - Super Cheap. - Extremely Convenient.
Cons: - Smaller capacity than something like a Ninja.
Overall Review: I bought one and have used it for a few months. I think it's so great... I bought another one for my Mother. Highly recommended for a "ninja-like" device with a smaller max capacity need. Price is also fantastic. I'm a big Rosewill fan in general.
2-Years WIth this Board
Pros: * Low price * I've had ZERO issues * Overclock options are pretty good * I don't like absurd amount of lights in my PC... this one doesn't look like a fireworks display but the single red light is pretty cool (for me a positive).
Cons: * None that I can see
Overall Review: I bought this board in 2017 and paired it up with a Ryzen 1700X. I am a hobbyist miner and, although, this is my primary home office PC I also mine on the CPU & GPU when I'm not using it. So I've had the system under continuous load the *entire* time. Zero hiccups. I cannot complain at all and I continue to go back to ASRock for almost every system that I build (I own 12+ boards at this time). I'll be upgrading to a Ryzen 3900X next week. If I don't update the review that means it worked perfectly ;-)
Decent Supply / Good Service from Rosewill
Pros: - Very low cost - Fully modular - Fairly quiet operation - Great RMA Service
Cons: - Not as reliable as QUARK series
Overall Review: I own a bunch of these but I have had more failures than I would like. It seems like the ones that will fail do so fairly quickly -- the ones that last just keep on going no problem. The positive... Rosewill has great RMA service. This is why I have been buying their supplies for ~5 years & stick to them. I have always had no questions asked replacements sent to me within the warranty period. Also I have never had a Rosewill PSU fail and cause damage to any other components.
Pros: * Works no problem. * Actually had TWO 250 GB hard drives. * I will be buying more for Crypto-Mining (running 3x GPUs with risers... this system could run four)
Cons: * Fans are loud.
Overall Review: It's a PITA to replace the power supply. The connector is not compatible with a normal ATX power supply. If you plan to replace the PSU be sure to Google how to make a plug adapter.
Pros: I bought 10 of these boards in 2013. Zero have failed. Most have been installed & operating nearly 24/7 since my purchase. I used them for Bitcoin mining for nearly 2 years from 2013-2015... they have been office PCs since. As of 2017 I re-started bitcoin mining with the same system by purchasing new RX480 cards. Once again working no problem for several months so far.
Cons: I have broken several GPU retention sliders... I prefer the other style. Otherwise... no cons I can think of.
Overall Review: I have now owned 14 total ASRock boards (4 are different models)... only one has failed (the other model) in 4 years of experience with them. I will continue to buy ASRock products.
Pros: Cooling performance is simply awesome. I dropped about 25 degrees compared to my old Rosewill RCX-Z2 cooler. Granted the Rosewill still allowed my Core-2 Duo E4300 (1.8 stock) to run at 3Ghz but the temps got pretty high and it's fan spun up to speed quite often under high load. My CPU is maxed out at 3Ghz so I wasn't able to add any speed even with the temp drops. I haven't bought a really high end cooler since the old Alpha days with the Pentium-III so I was very excited to try this new Cooler-Master unit out and I am very pleased. Build quality and amount of accessories included were also great. It also did not block ANYTHING on my Abit AW9D-MAX motherboard... I can access all RAM slots, video card, etc no problem.
Cons: Installation is overall straight forward but the rear support bracket was too tight around the threaded part of the stand-offs. I had to use some pliers and bend it out slightly. Not a huge deal as I was able to do so in under 5 minutes but I did expect it to work "out of the box" -- this is the only con with the unit, though, IMO.
Overall Review: MASSIVE cooler with cool technology... really looks intimidating in my case as well =)
