Incredible buy for price paid!

BFG Tech GeForce 8800GTS (G92) 512MB GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 SLI Support Graphics Card BFGE88512GTSE
BFG Tech GeForce 8800GTS (G92) 512MB GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 SLI Support Graphics Card BFGE88512GTSE

Pros: 1. Not all that long, didnt obstruct the SATA cables and I didnt have to move the hard drives. 2. Great cooler and fan. I am using Riva***** to run the fan at 50% and it is not audible above my case fans. It also keeps the GPU core at <58C even after hours of gaming. 3. Phenomenal performance at my LCD's 1280x1024 native resolution: COD4 all settings max > 60fps. UT3 all settings max > 60fps. Rainbow six Vegas does not give me an option for 1280x1024, but with everything max > 60fps. FEAR all settings max > 65fps. WIC all settings max -> Min 17fps, average > ~40fps. COH all settings max > 70fps. Crysis all settings high no AA ~ 35-40fps. Gears of War (same 1280x1024 issue as R6Vegas) all settings at max > 60fps. 3DMark06 score of 12,316.

Cons: None really. The only even remotely related con I had was with Riva**** 2.0.6 and Forceware 169.21 drivers, but that is a one line fix in the Riva**** .cfg file.

Overall Review: My system is not built for mind-blowing performance but gives me highly satisfactory results for my needs with a Core 2 Duo E6700 @ 3GHz and so FSB-1200 and mem at DDR2-600, BFG 8800GTS 512.

One of the best media and deals out there!

Verbatim 4.7 GB 16X DVD+R 100 Packs Spindle Disc Model 95098
Verbatim 4.7 GB 16X DVD+R 100 Packs Spindle Disc Model 95098

Pros: Over 40 burns and not a single failure. Combined with my NEC ND3550 I am burning 4.7GB of video in less than 8 minutes. Great speed! The NEC burner is sensitive to media, temperature etc to determine burn speed but it ramps up close to 16X pretty fast!

Cons: None so far!

Works great when it matters most!

ARCTIC Freezer 7 Pro - Compact Multi-Compatible Tower CPU Cooler | 92 mm PWM Fan | for AMD AM4 and Intel 115x CPU | Recommended up to 115 W TDP
ARCTIC Freezer 7 Pro - Compact Multi-Compatible Tower CPU Cooler | 92 mm PWM Fan | for AMD AM4 and Intel 115x CPU | Recommended up to 115 W TDP

Pros: Relatively easy Installation, compared to other heatsinks which require removal of motherboard. Very good cooling performance compared to Stock Cooler. For a Pentium 4 @ 3.6 GHz, stock cooler was at 41C idle and 60C full load. The Freezer 7 pro gives me 41C idle and 48C full load.

Cons: Large, I have a 915PBL board and I had to bend a few fins on the MCH for the heatsink to be installed. Fan gets a little loud when it speeds up to 2800 RPM under full load conditions, but still lot quieter than stock Intel Fan. Included MX-5 thermal compound may barely be sufficient.

Overall Review: Idle temperatures the same as with stock cooling, but this cooler shines when it really matters and thats when the CPU is on full load. 12C temperature drop, right off the bat! Might even get better once the thermal compound cures.

Does what its supposed to do.

SAMSUNG Black 1.44MB 3.5" Internal Floppy Drive Model SFD321B/LFBL1
SAMSUNG Black 1.44MB 3.5" Internal Floppy Drive Model SFD321B/LFBL1

Pros: Inexpensive, get the job done. Doesnt look cheap - matches my black case very well.

Cons: None.

Overall Review: Used it only to install Intel Application Accelerator drivers during system build. Have only used it sporadically since but then Floppy disk technology is nothing to write home about. Works well - what more do you want from a floppy drive?

Quiet individually but get loud together.

COOLER MASTER SAF-S83-E1 80mm Silent 80mm Case Fan Value Pack With 6 packs
COOLER MASTER SAF-S83-E1 80mm Silent 80mm Case Fan Value Pack With 6 packs

Pros: Cant beat the price. Reasonably quiet individually. Inexpensive but not cheap.

Cons: Have 5 of them in the case - 2 in the front. 2 in the back and one on the side and it gets pretty loud.

Overall Review: Achieved what I wanted to with these fans. Earlier: CPU: 43C no load and 61C load. CASE: 32C no load and 45C load. NOW: CPU: 39C no load and 54C load. CASE: 29C no load and 36C load. My system specs are below: CoolerMaster Centurion 5 Case w/ Side Air duct. Pentium 4 550 3.4GHz w/ stock heat sink and fan. ATI X800XL PCI-E Twin 160GB Seagate 7200RPM SATA in RAID0. NEC ND-3550A DVD burner combo. Antec 500W Smart Power.

Incredible processing power

Intel Pentium 4 550 - Pentium 4 Prescott Single-Core 3.4 GHz LGA 775 Processor - BX80547PG3400E
Intel Pentium 4 550 - Pentium 4 Prescott Single-Core 3.4 GHz LGA 775 Processor - BX80547PG3400E

Pros: Immense crunching power. All my games run seamlessly, be it Far Cry and Unreal Tournament 2004 at very high settings and DOOM3 at High settings. I dont know why others are having trouble cooling this processor. I have the stock processor fan on this thing and a thermally advantaged case with side air duct it has front 80mm fan to keep hard drives cool and rear 120mm fan. The Antec power supply in the case also has two push-pull fans which draw air from the case and breath it outside - not sure how much that helps. The processor runs at 41C no load and playing the games at the highest or high settings it runs at 61C after several hours of game play. My system specs are below, if anyone is interested: Coolermaster Centurion 5 Case w/ Side Air duct. Pentium 4 550 Processor LGA 775. Intel 915PBL Motherboard. ATI X800XL PCI-E Graphics Card. Twin Seagate SATA 160GB setup in RAID0 configuration 1GB Corsair DDR2-533 Memory Antec 500W Smart Power NEC ND-3550A DVD Burner.

Cons: None so far.
