Nice Speakers

Logitech X-530 70 watts RMS 5.1 Black Speaker System
Logitech X-530 70 watts RMS 5.1 Black Speaker System

Pros: These speakers are really nice. Great sound. I know they would sound better, but I have a relatively old sound card. The sound is really good for the price. The sub sounds great. Overall, a good set of speakers, typical piece of Logitech equipment...amazing

Cons: Besides the $20.00 shipping charge.....there is none.

Overall Review: With the big sub and 5 satellites, they take up some room, so unless you have a decent sized desk, or a good spot to hang these, You may want to consider something smaller.

Best Case I've Ever Owned

LIAN LI O11 Dynamic EVO O11DEX Black Aluminum / Steel / Tempered Glass ATX Mid Tower Computer Case
LIAN LI O11 Dynamic EVO O11DEX Black Aluminum / Steel / Tempered Glass ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: - Amazing airflow - Very roomy (I have big hands, so this is nice) - Very nice design - Great cable management capabilities - Side mounted power supply

Cons: - Heaviest case I've ever owned (With everything in it, 50+ pounds)

Overall Review: A little over a year ago I bought a NZXT Creators Edition. It came with the worst designed case for airflow I have ever seen and that is after 20 years of building computers. In game (mostly Apex Legends, Forza, etc) my 3090 would run between 80° C - 85° C. I decided it was time for a new case. After multiple hours of research I settled on this one. After pairing it with Lian Li ARGB 140mm fans I couldn't be happier with it. Running the same games the 3090 rarely goes above 70° C. Processor is about 10° C cooler also. Overall, I would highly recommend this case. Only issue I have with it is the weight, but a well built large case is going to be on the heavy side.

Seems like a good headset

Turtle Beach Elite Atlas Aero TBS-6296-01 3.5mm Connector Circumaural Elite Atlas Aero Wireless PC Gaming Headset
Turtle Beach Elite Atlas Aero TBS-6296-01 3.5mm Connector Circumaural Elite Atlas Aero Wireless PC Gaming Headset

Pros: - Good Sound (Once tweaked) - Very Comfortable (And I have a pretty big head) - Lightweight - Good Construction (Didn't feel cheap)

Cons: - The Turtle Beach control software seemed very in depth. To some this maybe be a pro but to me its a con. I want to plug something in and have it work. Not saying it didn't but it required a decent amount of tweaks to get it to sound good - Virtually no noise cancellation of the world around you. Once again, some people may consider this a pro but I don't. When I'm gaming, I want to be able to her the IRL world as little as possible. With this headset could hear the key clicks of my mechanical keyboard as if I wasn't even wearing the headset.

Overall Review: I ended up submitting a RMA on this headset because the mic was full of static no matter what options I chose or settings I tweaked. I assume it was faulty. But I got a refund instead of a replacement because of the fact that there was no noise cancellation of the outside world. That is why I gave it 4 starts not 5. Like normal, Newegg customer support was awesome and quick.

Best Headset I've Ever Owned

HyperX Cloud II Gaming Headset with 7.1 Virtual Surround Sound for PC / PS4 / Mac / Mobile - Red
HyperX Cloud II Gaming Headset with 7.1 Virtual Surround Sound for PC / PS4 / Mac / Mobile - Red

Pros: - The most comfortable headset I have ever put on my head - Nice, long, durable cable - Very clear mic - Good, sturdy construction - Excellent sound

Cons: None that I can think of

Overall Review: When I first got it, I kept having issues with the sound driver stopping. Through the course of troubleshooting I realized that there was some sort of issue with the front USB ports on my case. While troubleshooting, I plugged it into different ports to see if I could re-create the same problem and it did on all of the front ones, when I plugged it into the rear USB ports it worked fine and I haven't had the problem since.

Good GPS

Nextar 4.3" Navigation System with TTS
Nextar 4.3" Navigation System with TTS

Pros: Overall, I’m very impresses with this GPS unit. The text-to-speech for road names is good. A friend of mine has a GPS and the TTS seems like it has a speech impediment at times. The mount is nice and flexible. When it calculates routes, it does take you however you have it set, meaning, fastest route, etc. I would recommend this unit to anyone that doesn’t want to spend a fortune.

Cons: I only have 1 con for this unit. It doesn’t have A LOT of Points of Interest in my area. This may be just my area. I live north of Pittsburgh and work in Cranberry, PA. The reason for the lack of POI’s could be due to the fact that most of the stuff around here is relatively new.

Overall Review: I bought this unit for my new job (Taxi Driver) because I got sick of getting lost. I was sketchy about buying this because at the time I bought it there were no reviews for it and I always read reviews before buying something. But in this case I just decided to take a chance. My price range at the time I bought it was between $140 and $170. In my search for a GPS in that price range I found by reading others reviews for other units that a lot of them didn’t have TTS and didn’t come with a carrying case or USB cable. Some didn’t come with a home charger, etc. I took a chance with this unit and decided to buy it only based on the facts that it had a 4.3 inch screen, TTS and it was in my price range. But, I was very surprised to find that it came with everything that others lacked; Carrying case, home and car charger, USB cable for updates and a nice mount. I would have bought this instantly if it would have listed what came in the box. I use this GPS every day and it hasn't let me down.

Best Flight SIm

IL-2 Sturmovik: 1946 PC Game
IL-2 Sturmovik: 1946 PC Game

Pros: This game is by far the best flight sim I have ever played. There is easily 150 planes to choose from. The single player campaigns are massive. The "hitboxes" on the planes aren't hitboxes. Every part of the plane is detailed to the point were you can take 100 rounds to a non-critical part of the plane and be fine, or the opposite, 1 hit to a fuel line can cause you to explode. Basically, it's a great game and well worth it, I can't wait for Storm of War; Battle of Britain, the next installment of this game.

Cons: Very steep learning curve, but here's the plus, it's only that way if you choose. The game has a lot of customizable options that allow for "nerfing". Meaning, you can set it to 100% realism, where you have limited ammo, limited fuel, full engine mgmt, stalls, black-outs, red-outs, realistic gunnery, etc, or you can play 100% nerf mode were you can literally bounce off the ground and not have the plane explode. Basically, the game caters to the hardcore flight sim enthusiast and the people that just want to fly around and kill things.

Overall Review: I've played other flight sims and one of the things the sticks out with this game as compared to others is simplicity. It doesn't come with a 7oo+ page manual about 1 plane (Falcon 4). One of the things I like is that you don't have to be a hardcore sim fanatic to enjoy the game. I play it with a $30 Logitech joystick, a friend of mine, plays it with a $450+ CH Product setup. So, the game is very broad. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a good flight game
