The fastest memory for my 3950x
Pros: 32GB @ 3600 speed with tight timings. Booted first time using XMP profile utilizing the ASRock X570 Taichi motherboard. Ran memory stress test for 2 hours and no errors. Just like the previous review I tightened the timings to 14-14-14-30, 3600 memory speed and infinity fabric set to 1800. NO ERRORS after 2 hours of stress testing! That’s were I will keep it.
Cons: Expensive, but your buying the best for Ryzen series 3 processors.
Overall Review: Excellent Memory G.skill
Disappointed
Pros: High pixels per inch. Super resolution and color
Cons: In early 2014 I purchased the previous version 2414q. Consistently would get dark screen after powering up PC and would have to power off and on the monitor for it to operate. When the 2415q came out I was positive Dell resolved the problem that was well discussed on many forums. Still has the same issue! Running a 28 inch 4k TN monitor with NO issue on the same computer. I really wanted a IPS screen. No go with this Dell.
Overall Review: Can't believe Dell didn't resolve the problem.
Excellent M.2 SSD - 1940 version
Pros: Excellent no problems loading Win 10. Operating on my system for 2 weeks and works flawlessly. Write speed’s are faster than advertised. ATTO bench is over 3000Mbps writes and 3460 read speed. Paid 249.99 for a near 2TB M.2 drive. The competitor is double the price. Excellent purchase!
Cons: None.
Overall Review: Buy it. You will be glad you did.
Strong 2080Ti - GPU runs cool under load
Pros: GPU temps 62C with 4K resolution load. Cooler temps allow for higher overclocks. Under 4K gaming load GPU speed never drops below 2100. 240mm radiator/Fans is superior than the 120MM versions out there. RGB is great also.
Cons: I would say price. Compared to other offerings, this is my choice if you want water cooling.
Solid Build - Looks Attractive - Overclocks Well
Pros: Solid card. Very nice packaging. Both GPU and Memory overclocks well. Boost to 2115 on the core and 16120 Effective on the memory. Timespy Extreme and two hours gaming at 4K stable. GPU temps cooler than most 2080Ti's. Includes COD 4 and a different look.
Cons: None
Overall Review: The review before me must have other issues with their system. The GPU binning is the same as the Strix OC version or better.
This G.skill set(along with the 4266 version) is the fastest memory available with low CL and tight timings.
Pros: This memory far exceeds my expectations. Running on a Aorus (Gigabyte) Z390 extreme at 4300Mhz with 17-18-18-38 timings and 9900K processor running at 5Ghz on all cores. Memory tested for 1 hour with no errors. Ran with tighter 17-17-17-37 timings at 4266mHz, but got 1 error after one hour of testing. Very happy running at 4300 with low CL. This memory set is highly binned Samsung memory.
Cons: No cons with the memory itself. You have to pay the price for the fastest available.
Overall Review: Please Note that not all Z390 motherboards will run this memory at the stated speeds. A solid motherboard design is crucial.
